I hope the injured victims recover, with no life long injuries. This should be a lesson that all traffic signs and signals should be obeyed .at stop signs ,vehicles have to come to complete stop.also blinking red light means vehicles have to completely stop, then proceed if it is safe. I see this being violated so many times. Only on blinking yellow yellow can vehicle proceed cautiously without stopping.

It's never wise to leave the scene of an accident. It turns a simple traffic situation into a felony. Offenders usually get caught anyway.
Some might argue that escaping a DUI could work successfully by leaving an accident, but the worse felony will still bite you.
