Put some people back to work.
deal.
a done deal. It will also put other people out of work, bring more foreclosures, more broken families, more crime, more political corruptions, more municipal services with not enough money, more gambling addiction and...
more limo riders for you. Cha-ching. Wamp casino is dead. I thought that was a done deal too. |
you are wrong, Casinos without hotels in this area mean nothing to the limo business. They will actually hurt the business unless you picking up clients from way out of town.
I wanted and promoted hotels, jobs and a covention/meeting center.... Or put slots at the track to help support the town of Raynham to recoupe the monies and jobs lost by the unwarranted end of dog racing. Opening a slots parlor is like opening another 7-11 in our area with a bar and reels of scratch tickets. no big difference in my eye's. Its Baby steps though.. I go to Twin Rivers and you don't see 1 limo parked there. they need a full casino if that place is to survive. |
to play the slots and the legislature has heard me and the majority of others who say the same. Don't want it? Don't play.
want you to play and get addicted and lose your business, family and friends.
Slot parlor = 7-11. You are naive too. 7-11s don't have jobs for those who have to clean the urine off of the stools. What a comparision? |
Now me I would just ask a worker to watch my seat while I went and used the rest room. There called slot hosts, You hit a button the light starts flashing someone comes over and says may I help you? Yes I need to use the wash room and I would like to save my credits without cashing out. No problem sir, Take your time. When I come back I hit him off with a $10.00 and next time the light goes on you have 3 of them running to be first.
Now if someone sits there and pee's on the stool, That is a personal problem that someone turned into some anti propoganda. By the way if its a Job and I need to support my family I am never above cleaning urine.. |
want busybodies like yourselves to take care of your own business and not get into mine. I am quite capable of managing my own life without your own personal moral barometer telling me and everyone else what to do. The vast majority of visitors to a casino or slot parlor can manage quite well. Probably less addictive than viewing a group of Grogfathers placing public photos of their alcohol consumption. You don't like it? Then you don't have to play. No job should be diminished. |

as to how the anti casino lobby intends to stop the slots and casinos? Is there a secret plan? With the brillant minds operating CFM I say by October we will have slot parlors with casinos to follow.
you are confused. That is indicative of the persoanlity type of the inevitable crowd. Your so arrogant that the slightest possibility of you being wrong it bruises your ego and hurts your brain. You don't know what CFM is going to do because we aren't telling you. There will be a lot going on, stay tuned.
with you "moral" high roaders. What a collection of shallow phoneys! LMAO! Tell us all about the "evils." All you clowns are is a latter day version of prohibitionist.
legislate morality, but you can moral abuses like predatory gambling. You sound like what slave owners used to be.
Do they force me into the door? Do you support the lottery? You wish to restrict my personal choice. LMAO!Nothing like a "Holy Roller."
goodness they will save us from ourselves.
no real issue with CFM as they are just following the process. I just don't agree with them as I feel the anti gambling advocates seriously overstate their information. As far as states that have casinos having financial issues Massachusetts has serious financial issues and no casinos. Studies quoted are invariably for ardent anti gambling sources.

DiMasi when Casino Free Mass needs him. They loved how upstanding the guy that was an ethics train wreck. What's with Sal, CFM and the grand jury?
They all ranted how pro casino people fell for Marshall and his BS. At the same time they fell for DiMasi's BS. |
has the influence? Which president? Senate or CFM? Laughable. A grassroots organiztion that can't draw flies at the State House. Thet got shown up by the Limo guy. How sad is that?
The real thing is that some of those dazed lollypops actually think they killed the Middleboro casino. Hello, knuckleheads! SCOTUS and the economy did that in - MAYBE? Maybe some more will jump ship like BB. I hate it but. |
You are the joke. Limo is irrelevant. No one pays him the time of day except himself. BB did not jump any ship. He's looking after his own interests.
SCOTUS killed it moron. Watch for the big 3 to explain why and there is more coming down the pike. No one fell for DiMasi's BS. He chose to be on the right side of the issue for a change. Pro side has no studies cause they are afraid of them. It tells the truth. Casino business is bad business. They admit to sucking players dry. |
Do you still love Sal the Savior?
who? LMAO! Ct. had a great economic study produced by UCONN. Clyde Barrows has spoken several times very openly on casinos. Spectrum is a nice balanced report. When I was at TR recently I was not forced to gamble. I lost $40 in slots and my wife lost $20 and we had a nice meal at Steve and Fred's. Exactly how was that sucking me dry? Why is it so awful to you that I made a personal choice to take some of MY money and gamble? Personally, drug and alcohol abuse is a far greater and more deadly issue than compulsive gambling - a compulsion that is there with or without a casino.
