Claymont Principal calls Tuscarawas County people white trash!!!!

You are all very wrong. The principal's wife did NOT say that the people of the Twin Cities were trash. For some reason some mean spirited people took what she DID say and totally twisted it around. She had taken her son to the hospital and someone was outside hacking and coughing as she walked in the door and the guy was blowing smoke at them. She called HIM white trash.(and I for one agree with her!) One person, not a whole community, not the town, etc... First off, she did this on her own private facebook. Just because someone on her "friends" list was obviously deceitful and not her friend and had to print off what she said and turn it all around does not make her a horrible person. Why are you all so hard on these people.
The Salvino's are honestly very kindhearted, good people. They are in no way the mean people you are making them out to be. No, I am NOT related to them, I am not their BEST friend, etc.. so when you start attacking my comment, please realize I am simply someone who has viewed what really happened and think those who started this should take a hard look at themselves and stop harassing good people!

Ditto, Guess what I AM on welfare!!! Whoo hoo! I am not proud of it, and thanks to great family support my sons wear nothing but name brand clothes, but what you don't know is I am going to college to better myself and will have a degree next semester. My family is NOT dirty and I take great care of my children and my boyfriends children for that matter. I just look at it this way: I will be helping someone just like me in the near future when I can afford to. At least I am working for my benefits!

LMAO, there is nothing wrong with welfare for people that use it like you are. It's the welfare fraud and abuse that grind my gears. People like my boyfriends ex wife who cried she couldn't afford gifts for the kids at Christmas last year so I went and bought her gifts to give them. Even gave her wrapping paper to wrap them. Know what that leech did? She went out and bought presents for her boyfriend and then went to the Toys for Tot's to get them more stuff.(These kids have a good christmas from my boyfriend and I plus both his family and my family so it wasn't like they were going with out.) Worst part is she didn't even wrap the gifts we gave her. Used to the paper to wrap her boyfriends gifts. That is the thing I'm talking about, people that are greedy and abuse the system. Not people that work hard. Once again it boils down to class and behavoir. Working hard and getting help is good behavior and teaches your kids the right kind of lesson.

Yea tell my ex that lol! And my boyfriends ex for that matter. My youngest son just lost his medical card because his greedy dad (who cant afford to pay child support) took me to court and got split custody (I have one and he has one) and because he doesn't live with me 50% of the time I can't get it for him. Did I mention his dad can't either because he makes too much money (you know the same person that can't afford to pay child support?) Did I also mention that their dad's place of employment doesn't offer insurance, and is going to close soon. He is going to lose his job, has no GED or Diploma, and now because of him our son has no medical coverage, well because of him and the great T-County court system. I am a good mom, I am going to school to be a teacher lol. But it was in his best interest to be with his daddy right?

Ok,I got flamed for getting off topic, but it boils down to this: Everyone is entitled to their opinion. If that is how this woman feels, so be it. Doesn't make true, it makes it her opinion. Everyone is all up in arms about her expressing her opinion but we are all quick to give ours and expect people to respect it. What's the difference? The attitude that the wife of the Claymont High School principal, may reflect his attitude to the area. It seems like his wife and him both assume the better than thou attitude. If that is the case maybe they should move on out of the 922 land to an area better suited for them and make his salary some place else. It is up to the board of education to monitor and and watch for the GOOD OLE BOY CLUB that they have going on there. I am quite certain that if the board members listen close enough to the teachers and the community, they will be aware of what is going on and action should be taken.

I don't think I said anything about firing him, however I do think that having a bad attitude about this area and expressing it openly is another thing. You are right about not being from here but we know how all that works whenever you come into a district and suck up to certain board members. That makes you elgible for the Boys Club.I am not aware of what goes on at Indian Valley district so I have no comment to make on that subject.I do no what goes on in the Claymont district first hand

Man you just gave yourself away. The only way and I mean only way you could know what's going on in the Claymont district FIRST HAND is being one of the board members. The board memebers never tell the people what is really going on, so your either a board member or you just kidding yourself if you think you know what's going on.

This is really getting out of hand, if you knew what happened you yourself would be up in arms. I know if my child was sick and the hospital ignored me you'd probably find me in jail.
