I thought that when this store/restraunt came to remsen that it was going to be a good thing! Well it may have been a good thing but i don't think it is going to stay long with the prices the way they are, who can afford to eat there after they pay for the gas to get themselves there? It is just a matter of time.

To bad so negative on something that is good for the community. It will be here longer then you coming. That is sad for you. People will still go even with the price of gas. People will come and they should. Same as us going to Utica , we still do . Thanks for your opinion we all have them.

Great place...clean, bright, reminder of the good ole days. Food good...little bit high in price but will definitely go back again.

This place is great. Excellent food and service at a good price. It is worth a little drive every so often when you want a nice treat. I think the first comment is way off, especially since this person lives in Johnsburg, which is about 80 miles from Remsen. Of course it is going to cost you in gas if you come from that far away, but most people don't drive 80 miles for a burger and shake.

We just got back from a beautiful fall drive up north. Had a great drive and decided to stop in to the Soda Fountain to check it out and have a bite to eat. It was PACKED! After a little confusion in the beginning(we talked to the owner and found out that they just began table service this week), the service was great. The food came out quickly, despite how busy they were, and was hot and fresh. And the prices are really not bad at all. For two of us - HUGE appetizer sampler, two dinners, soda and a chocolate shake - it came to $28. Comparable to anywhere else you'd go. Cute restaurant, great theme, and an enjoyable time. I think it's great for the community to have a fun, successful business. And I think EVERYONE NEEDS TO CALM DOWN ABOUT THE GAS. Jeez, we can't stop living our lives over a few dollars! Have fun and enjoy!!!!!

I think it's great! The owners are amazingly awesome and friendly, they go around and talk to people when they're there. The food is awesome, especially the Harvest Burger that was out during barn fest! The name of the meals are original, everything is fresh and they have new food items all the time! Plus the cook that works only on the weekends is a hottie, for sure. ;D

the store prices are too expensive..sure they may be busy at times, but the locals don't want to see them fail, seeing how they are such a young couple..Myself, better choice of restaurants in the area and I shop at chanatry's for groceries..

Because they cook them on a grill and make the food fresh. You're not going to Wendy's you know.

The soda fountain is a nice touch for the town. But there food sucks. There wait staff is a bunch of idiots. I was there on sunday the kid brought out our order it was ice cold. i asked to have it re-done the kid microwaved it, Have you ever eaten microwaved mac. salad? It will make you sick as hell lol what a joke. I have had food form there maybe 10 times and have never enjoyed a meal. but het it beats the crap out of TAMs lol

Really??? You went 10 times and never enjoyed a meal? I think you would have stopped after the first or second time. Try McDonalds or Burger King. It sounds more like you style.

lol I go becasuse my 6 yr old loves there food an it puts money back into the town I live in. The owners mean well but there food is nothing to write home about.
