There has got to be a club for the Barling Whiners. Either that or you guys are underclass. I think that the only reason you might be "harassed" is because you don't follow instructions well because you don't listen. How many times must they repeat it to you? You can't have it your way! You must abide by the law. I have lived here in Barling for awhile. The Officers don't "harass" me. If I meet an Officer, they are very nice to me and I am nice in return. See how it goes? You might try that. That action right there might solve all your problems.

Have you read this story?the judge agreed there was excessive force by the officers involved.Instructions were followed in this case.why would the police have waited 40 minutes after he was told he could leave before asking him if they could search him?is this whiny?i think not.It is stating facts.Im pretty sure its also harrasment.underclass?im glad you corrected yourself before i called you out there.Yea it is decent of you of be nice to all officers, but tell me what if they showed you no respect even if you did follow there directions?would you go file a complaint with the same dept?maybe get a lawyer ?not everyone they come in contact with are criminals but that is how they treat most people.

I'd get off my ass and go talk to them. There is a reason for them to talk to you all disrespectful. I wasn't there, but these guys are dumb. You are not telling the other side of the story. Something is fishy.

bullshit. Had Kirby not declined the pat down, it probably wouldn't have gone so far. Why would he decline a pat down? Especially if they suspected his gf of having something that looked like methamphetamine. Why would he decline a pat down, if there was nothing in his pockets to link him to an unlawful act?

When commanded to stop walking towards his mother, why did he fail to comply? Why did he struggle with the officers, if he had nothing in his pockets and he wasn't commiting a crime? Why did he not comply? There is something wrong with his behavior. Innocent ppl usually comply. Why wouldn't they? It isn't the officers fault that he landed on his face. Had he complied to the pat down, not walked towards his mom as instructed, and not struggled with police, he could have just gone home with his mom. End of that stupid story.

Because they waited 40 min before asking him,he was told he could go.and just maybe he knows barling is a pissy little dept who are known for planting evidence.i would have declined also.so he doesnt comply and walks away, and they tase him while he walks away.sounds
to me like they were looking for an excuse to get him on anything they could.pretty funny that the officers involved had to admit kirby did nothing wrong that night and he did comply up until his mother showed up.he was no threat!!!he was told he could go. EXCESSIVE force

Who the HELL is in charge! These officers should be FIRED! Officers in Barling have been fired for less! Must be the chief's friends! WOW seems the chief is no better than Merrill, LaMora, Hamilton, or the rest. Get rid of them all and get some "real cops". If the chief can't control his department then it is time for him to go too. Happy Trails to a bunch of bullies that are no better than the thugs on the streets of Barling.
