On Sunday April 4th at 10:00 3 Barling Police officers arrived at 200 Nicholes St. on a phone call from A "friend". This "friend" stated that a Father was making her stay home. When the officers arrived they confronted the father and asked him what was going on. He then said my daughter wanted to stay the night she just turned eighteen and there is school tommorrow so he calmly told her no and she got angry and told him she was leaving the father told her until she's out of skewl she wont go anywhere unless he said so. Then the first officer replied that he understands. Then the second officer said that it is against the law to falsly imprison someone. after a brief arguement the father was forced to let har go. The last thing the father seen that night was his lonly daughter walking up the road. Please let me know how you feel on this subject. evreything in this forum is fact not opinion!

The police officers are correct. The daughter is no longer a minor and is able to
Leave or go where and when she wants. She is by law an adult.
The father would be commiting a crime if he restrained or didn't let her
Leave. It might suck but its the law.
