Three officers with the Department of Public Safety at Fort Chaffee resigned recently amid an investigation by the state Game & Fish Commission, said Sgt. First Class Chris Duney, public affairs officer with the Arkansas National Guard
The three, who have been employed at Fort Chaffee ranging from 11⁄2 to seven years, were under investigation by the Game & Fish Commission for poaching on Fort Chaffee land, said Capt. Chris Heathscott, state public affairs officer with the Arkansas National Guard.
"We expect nothing but the highest level of professionalism from (all of our employees)," said Heathscott. "That kind of activity will not be tolerated on our post or in this organization as a whole."
Authorities received information from members of the public regarding night hunting and hunting out of season for deer, said Keith Stephens, spokesman for the state Game & Fish Commission.
"They (the trio) confessed to several violations," Stephens said.
The names of the three employees were not immediately available, Stephens added.
Heathscott said the Guard is following up with implementing some internal measures "to improve our operations on post so this doesn't occur on Fort Chaffee in the future."

Well looks like Cox, Oliver, and dummy got caught. Boys look to Armstrong for an answer into why you got caught. That leaves only a very few of the rat squad left....who will go next.

Hey don't worry Chaffee Cops, you can still be a cop! Don't believe me, then just ask Chief Tracy Powell of the Barling Police Dept. He was a poacher and was arrested on various charges. Now look he worked his way from criminal to Chief! What is wrong with that picture!!!!
