The Rowland Gravey Train Continues..Bill DiBella would be proud...Of course Rell will do nothing..What did Gaffey get?..Anyone AUDIT this Agency?...The business comes to them...Maybe we should bring in the New York State Police. They did a great job in finding the problems withe the CSP.

Michael Pace is either stupid or he thinks we are. Paying the head of a trash authority more than a quarter million dollars and his LT - nearly $200 is not the cost of the marketplace. Fire both of these overpaid glutons and Rell should dissolve the whole board. All of them who voted for this nonense have their heads so far up their collective axxs they couldn't find it with both hands and a mirror. All that does is run up the cost for taxpayers. Meanwhile, Pork n Jill Tom Gaffey sends threatening letters to the shoreline town who allows the boyscouts to sell a few bottles and cans to raise money for their activities. Crooks, thieves and arrogance. Kiss my overtaxed axx.

these people probably serve at the pleasure of the governor. let her pleasure be to ask for the resignations of all of them, and make some deal to buy out their contracts.

then empower the municipalities to form their own agency to get the best prices they can for trash removal and take over crra facilities as necessary or just sell them off.

these quasi-public entities have been nothing but trouble and
(il)legal loose cannons, not to mention arrogant, disrespectful, and dictatorial toward the entities they are supposed to serve. this is a layer of bureaucracy that we never could afford before and can afford less now in these lean times.

axe 'em.

Why is it OK for the wealthy to get huge raises at huge percentages, and the rest of us have to scrap to get a percentage point or two every few years?

And then they get vast tax deductions to pay virtually nothing, leaving us to foot the bills?

When will there be justice? When will the voters no longer accept thieves in power?

Privitized Profits, Socialized Costs.

It's smell of 21st century America!

I wonder when this will all 'trickle down' on us.

Shame on you for voting Republican if you make less than 6 figures.

Don't fret, it's about par for the course for our corporate aristocracy. The raises average 11.5% and 9.3% compounded annually for the chief and his lieutenant respectively. Similar raises have been going on for many years for our corporate aristocracy while the lower and middle classes have barely kept up with inflation. Does anybody know what a banana republic is? We're there.

In this garbage economy (pun intended), why should they have to "lure" anyone out of retirement NOR give anyone already making outrageous amounts a raise?

Heck, given the unemployment rate, there are PLENTY of qualified folks who are willing and able to fill those positions for even less money.

All we want to know is the real cost to do business. That's it !
Vernon Mayor Jason McCoy & Town Attorney Hal Cummings have been asking this same question but CRRA can't stand still for one momment.

Funny you should say that, considering there are more Democrats than Republicans on the CRRA board. Should do your homework before making silly statements.

The CRRA, has adopted the Bill Clinton philosphy...take all you can get.
How about that missing $6,000,000 that
we paid McGuire Group for not inspecting the Storm Drains on I-84?
Was the money dispersed between the players? Since McGuire was the engineer of Choice under Buddy Selemi in East Hartford, mabye Buddy can tell us where the money went!! HELP!

Actually it is time for all of them to go. Let's get term limits (less time to learn the ropes on how to legally steal) and when it is election time, vote out ALL the incumbents. Stop voting your party, vote independent and get some new faces to clean out these scumbags.
