Mainstream has been operating illegally for years. Was fought by the Department of Environmental Protection and lost. The article refers to a town attorney only giving an opinion. In reality parking on a bridge, parking on a cross walk, conducting business in a public park are all illegal. It's time Mr Casey starts paying for what he's been taking for free for years, or should be at least sharing it with the local competitors. Mr. Stein, Barkhamsted's 1st Selectman says he'll be able to operate in the park, well there's no room for his vehicles to operate safely in the existing parking lot.
So, it's against the standards set by the Federal Governments, Wild and Scenic designation, Connecticut State DEP, and State Police Traffic laws. This Story is a fabrication of mis-information.
