While the town of Hartland would seem logically to be in Litchfield county (were everything squared off) it is actually in Hartford county due to an historical request (I guess it was easier to get wagons to a market in Hartford county in the 1700’s) Of course since the counties have no political reality the point is somewhat moot until it comes time for a national or state wide election when the predominantly republican town is totally disenfranchised by being Gerrymandered in with democratic Hartford rather than republican Litchfield.

The cellphone system still sucks! I can't believe that I spend so much money on phones that don't work out here.
