A lawyer accepting $46,500/year...I would say she is grossly overqualified or a grossly poor lawyer. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and choose option 1.

My, aren't we blessed.

I don't think she is the right person for the job but I will vote for her anyhow.

Isn't that just special.

What kind of thinking is this?$46,500 is a paltry amount when compared to like jobs of county coordinator in smaller or same size counties. Perhaps she also chose to use her legal expertise to improve quality of life issues for Johnson County.

Regardless of motive-"Commissioner Mitch Ripley said he voted in favor to support Hash but that he didn't think she was the best choice for the job". I guess that is exactly what a loser would say. What a jerk to say you vote in favor but, don't think they are the best choice. Such is double-talk in Indiana.

Kathleen Hash is very qualified and will do an excellent job. The fact that she would accept that low salary just shows that she isn't in it for the money but for the good of the community. She has been serving this community excellently ever since she became a Deputy Prosecutor. One of the best!

Somewhere there is corruption in this. Just got to look closer, they are hiding it somehow.

If you do your homework, you'll see Mitch Ripley consistently opposes his fellow commissioners, if nothing else, but to spite them. I think Ms. Hash should be commended for taking a position (and a decrease in pay)for a job that will better our community. She should not be criticized.

From what I have read and heard over the years, Kathleen Hash has done an excellent job as deputy prosecutor, diligently protecting the citizens of Johnson County and enforcing our laws. I commend and appreciate her sacrifice!
