I went to school with these kids and it's really sad that this happened. I know that Joe left behind family, including a twin brother.

Keep the families in your prayers!

This is really hard, especially on a day like Thanksgiving. We have now lost 4 students in the past year due to car accidents. Im praying for the families and friends of these students, and also that we start realizing how these things can happen to any of us at any time, please DRIVE SAFE!

i am so sorry && my prayers go out to the family.
we need to be more careful and observant in situations like this. kids do not take driving seriously they think its a toy & take advantage of it. i will pray for you, get better soon. and my brothers friend who died a day after his 17th birthday jus passed away from a car accident. so we need to take things like this more careful. my heart goes out to you.

I wasn't very close with either of them, but I shared some classes with Sara, and talked a couple times. I grew up with Phil and Joe Mulinaro. We went to the same elementary, middle, and high school.
I remember them picking on me a couple times, but not like in a bullying way. I was never close with either of them, but this is very sad, and it hurts me too. I know I don't hurt as much as their friends, but I still feel it. I'm still in shock over the accident. It was at one of the entrances to my neighborhood. I drove past the accident at 5 this morning. I had no clue..

I feel horrible for the families, and especially Phil, because I know him and his twin were close. At least from what I noticed. And for Sara's family, since she was an only child. I hope they rest in peace.<3

I don't mean to be cold and direct about this tragedy that leaves family and friends mourning over deaths of two teens.
My point is that if Joseph Mulinaro had chosen to not be speeding OR if they had simply buckled up before he drove, he would not have killed himself and Sara.
I have to agree with you and after looking at the MySpaces Im wondering (hope not) if alcohol and or drugs were not involved along with anger. His represents him being very angry and hers states how F'ed up she was getting.

I can only hope the teen friends of these two can realize this was a preventable incident and not an accident. Accidents are things that happen without control he had a choice he chose not to be in control!!

I know that school is going to be really hard for our senior class on Monday. I had classes this year with both of them, and I know that the rest of this year is going to be filled with grief, and their memory.

and another thing is that if you didnt know them you shouldnt be posting things that people who do don't want to see.
And yes they did have choices and yes teens do bad things sometimes and you was or are one once anyways so don't catagory them. adults are also horrible at driving too.
And RESPECT EVERYONE CAUSE WE ALL IN THE SCHOOL ARE GOING THROUGH THE HARDEST THINGS AT THIS POINT

Joe was my cousin Tim's son. I really did not know him that well, but I know he was a good kid and wanted to work with his dad. Yes, Joe could have chosen to not speed, but let's be honest, we were all young once and I know I didn,t think about the consequences when I was a young driver. We all need to stress to our kids to be safe drivers. My wife Terri and I lost our daughter Morgan almost 5 years ago at the age of 21. Our family misses her so much and we will never get over her death. We are thankful for having the privilege of being her parents for over 21 years. Please offer your prayers for the family. Let's not talk about what if's. What has happened is done. What we can do now is offer our prayer's and sympathy to the family during this time of great sorrow and mourning. Remember to always tell your kids and loved ones you love them whenever they leave. I wish I had told Morgan how much I loved her the last morning that I saw her.

I am in joes family. He was such a great guy, son, brother, cousin and friend. It is such a devastating time everyone is going through. I would appreciate everyone keep him and sarah in their prayers. God will take care of them both. They have no worries now. xox

First of all, my heart goes out to the parents of Sara & Joe. I didn't know either of them. I do know that everyone needs to be more careful when driving. You never know what will happin. Parents need to keep reinforcing about driving safe and about being home at a reasonable time. Take the time to ask what your child is doing and make sure everything they are doing is good things. Please students and teenagers be safe. God Bless everyone.

No one speeds on purpose... they may, but not to kill themselves or harm others. so for the one above, there are a million of people out there that DONT BUCKLE UP and also SPEED. and no one knows if they were under the influence of anything. so lets not assume anything. this was accidental and for the one above that says its a careless death... no one speeds to get home or going to the store thinking that its a careless death. so why dont you watch what you say please, exspecially for us who know the families. Thank you.

This is very tragic... for young lives to be lost in an accident that may have been preventable. My heart goes out to their families. I just do not understand why they were out so late. I graduated a few years ago and when I was in high school had to be home at 11 or 12 no ifs ands or buts. The same with my friends. Nothing good ever happens late at night! I hope others will learn the importance of safety before its too late!
