Bill N. Fry During the Time of Amber’s Case
+ Drove a black GMC 1500 (resembles a Chevy Cheyenne)
+ Had a master key to every vacant HUD home in Arlington; also had an apartment near UTA
+ Winterized HUD homes in Tarrant County
+ Eyewitnesses saw a pair of girl’s panties in his console “covered in blood” at his 210 Ranch Two Rd. house in Ferris; he then set them on fire
+ Was known by co-workers and relatives to frequent N. Arlington looking for prostitutes
+ Was going through a divorce with Wanda June Mitchell after 16 years of marriage
+ Abruptly left Texas after Amber’s body was found
+ Got plastic surgery to his face when he returned
+ Moved to Chino Valley, Arizona in 1998
+ Neighbors in Arizona saw him “religiously washing and vacuuming” his black truck
+ Indictment for slicing his stepson’s throat with a knife was dismissed in 1998 (Amber’s throat was cut)

Did Amber’s Family Know Bill N. Fry?
Jackie Mitchell, niece of Wanda June Mitchell, posted this on The Ellis County Observer last year:“LOTS [emphasis hers] of people had the same kind of [black] trucks in Arligton those years. Hell there was about [eight] on my block alone... and I was just a few away from where she [Amber] lived.”

After this was published in sister publication The Ennis Examiner, the Hagerman family requested (via the Arlington police) that this publisher not contact them anymore. Amber was the second child of Hagerman’s father to have been abducted.

Unusual Irony
15 Years Ago: 9-year-old Amber was kidnapped, raped and murdered by a man driving a black truck that resembled a Cheyenne

15 Years Later:
Bill N. Fry had a 9-year-old and a 15-year-old named Cheyenne taken from his custody

Since we only get bits & pieces, it's hard to figure out why this man isn't in custody for something!!!! Who were the kids removed from his custody??? I had intended to move to Prescott but this has make me sick to think this guy may be the horrific murderer out on the loose. Has this guy even been brought in for questioning as a "person of interest" ??? If so, where are the details of that interview?
