Hard to believe that he wins a state championship and the best he can do is Bardstown. Something isn't right There. He will have no Elijah Justice to carry him at Bardstown.

It may not have anything to do with bardstown being the "best he can do". Jason Booher could have gotten just about any job in the state prior to this years state championship run because he had already built a great team from nothing. His interest in the Bardstown job probably has a lot more to do with the fact that he would be returning closer to his home (Hardin County).

Insight, I don't know about any job in the state. He will probably coach at Bardstown until Bevars steps down and then apply at North. Interesting transition from mountain boys to un-fundamental athletes. We'll see what kind of coach he really is at Bardstown.

It sounds to me like there are alot of card fans that just might be intimidated with this possible new coach coming to bardstown. What you all fail to realize is that the tigers are very young. Give them a year or two with the right coach and see what you have to say then. If i am not misstaken and i know i am not, they being young and all gave Nelson Co. a loss this year. So it sounds to me like there may just be a little jealousy that he is looking at Bardstown instead of Nelson Co.

First of all basketball fan, Bardstown hasn't hired a coach yet. Second, there is good young talent coming up in all high schools in the county. That Bardstown win last year was a flook, look at how bad Bardstown got beat In the other 2 games. They got beat 30 in the district. Bethlehem is young also with good young talent coming as well. There will be good basketball in the years to come at all local schools. I can tell you first hand that Nelson doesn't fear Bardstown one bit.

There are more than 50 applicants. Ellis Myles and Montrel Irvin are going to interview. Will Bardstown hired a BLACK basketball coach is the question? So many QUALITY coaches, who would you choose?

The coach I am hoping gets the job is Doug Johnson. I hear he interviews next week. There is a lot of the community pulling for him. It will be interesting to see which way the Administration goes.

Wat happen wen a coach is a coach. Now tiger and jump yall saying black and you want Doug. Wat you saying is you want someone white in there instead of a black coach. Thats sad an shameful to say we are from the same place, if yall are from here. I say we hve good coaches to pick from may the bet coach win despite there color.

Hey Btown, I agree with you. A coach is a coach no matter the color. I am black and am pulling for Doug to get the job. I am a btown grad and want to see a btown guy get the job. Would like to see Boo get it also but I don't think Boo is as expierienced as Doug. I'm tired of these out of town yo yo's that don't bleed the purple and gold..

I agree with you Tigers Rule, I hope Doug gets the job as well, but I'm afraid that the school is leaning toward hiring a black coach. That way the black parents couldn't play the race card against the coach like they did last year with Gary Goode. I hear that there are a lot of good applicants fot the job.I think the coach from Shelby Valley is also being considered highly as well. I hope he and Doug are heavily considered but don't be surprised if the school hires a black coach.
Exactly which year are you saying played the "black Card"
