Was at Mammy's this week. Love it. Brings back the memories of the good old days in Bardstown and Nelson county. The food was great. Service was very good and friendly and kind to us all. Place was very busy. Have not been there at night. Hope it is as good. Let's support our local scene.

its on third st. downtown. I heard their burgers are good but we weren't impressed. My friend had a burger and I had a chicken sandwhich. They were ok but we probably wont be going back.

it was really great when I went sometime ago. sure it is not your big famous "louisville restaurant",but if you want good service, friendly atmosphere and good food at a reasonable price, then go there. it is better than alot of the establishments in bardstown and I mean some of the old and new, they do need to expand their menu, but I thought it was great. One thing that impressed us was that the waitresses at that time were young, but so kind to the old and the little ones. I know they have birthday parties and everything there. check it out.

i ate there for the first time last week. the service was great but the food was just okay don't know if i will go back or not and it was not cheap. i got a hamburger and tatertots and my fiance got a grilled cheese and chili and it cost us 17.00 dollars with 2 drinks. i thought that was a little to much. but the service as i said before was great.

ALL places to eat in Bardstown SUCK AZZ. How come mcdonalds, taco bell, etc. are the bomb everywhere else except Bardstown? The places around here are run by idiots who could give a crap about your food being hot and fresh. If im going to go out and pay 10-15 dollars for some fast food....it had better be hot, fresh and you better serve me with a fcking smile. Im so fcking sick of the places in btown that we either cook at home or go to e-town or louisville if we go out. And, when we finally get a nice, sit-down place ...what do we get? A GARBAGE AZZ SHYTHOLE like Chilis. Unreal.

I tried Mammys for the first time this weekend for breakfast and have to say I was not impressed. I guess if you've lived in Bardstown all your life or you're a tourist it may seem quite quaint. The food was very greasy and all the tables were dirty when we came in. There was only one young lady I was impressed with. Dark hair. She seemed to be a very hard worker and cared about her job. I don't even think she was supposed to be working. She seemed to be there with her family and kept jumping up helping. Very impressed with her but I doubt we will be going back.

Yeah Chilis sucks a big one and I cannot believe that is the only bar & grill in btown. E-town doesn't even have THAT much good to eat. L'ville has it all.

Wouldn't you rather help small town owners instead of franchises.
I love Mammy's and all the workers.

I love Mammy's Kitchen. I know they get real busy and I'am sure they are doing what they can do. It's a small family business with ONLY family working there. They have such a great variety of food on the menu and daily lunch specials. It's so awesome. Best food around. And for all those people with bad comments, keep them to yourself. We need to give our small business's a chance. Im sure onwning a rest. is very hard!

Mammys Kitchen has great food, and by far the best prime rib all around, it is usually a Saturday night special. I am a very picky steak eater and never order a prime rib but Mammys has the best!

Honey its not McDonalds how much so you expect to pay when you go out to eat? 17.00 for 2 I think that is very reasonable...
