I carry 24/7 not just when it's appropriate. But it's good that you carry at all so many people got there permit I think just because it was something to do

Well I think it is a good thing, I'd hate to be at a restaraunt and have my servers ex-boyfriend come in shooting cuz she's leaving him... I'm shooting back. The downside is standing at the counter at Keenes and having them sell a handgun to someone that doesn't know what end of a revolver the bullets come out of.

Single snap reverse holster on my left hip. Hammer kept on empty chamber, the other 5 come out in a hurry if need be.

Bersa Thunder 380cc. In a special made purse with a custom holster. The gun is all by itself with zippers on either end for left or right hand draw. Cross carry for easier access.

Nice gun for truly concealed carry, HP gives a little more "stopping" power.
I feel comfortable with the Colt, carry it open holster hunting and fishing. Visibility doesn't bother me in public.

I like it a lot. I have tried other guns but they are either too heavy or I cant hit anything them..or the recoil bruises my hand. But it is truly concealed and I like it that way.

I carry 2 Most recently a ruger lcr 38 awesome trigger, light, easy to use and always goes bang like revolvers do...I've owned a kel-tec 32 since they came out, very easy to carry not easy to use the laser helps. It fits in a shirt pocket.
I thought he asked about concealed carry.. a long barreled colt single action cannont be carried concealed easily in my opinion..and if modern the transfer bar negates the need for empty chamber carry. I usually car in a pocket sleeve holster. in winter a belt slide or small of back is best..Watch who you mess with low-lifes

My Colt has a 5 1/2 inch barrel, not the normal "big iron" people think of with a Colt single action. Carrying the hammer on a empty chamber is just old habit. The hammer almost comes back automatically on a cross draw, either right or left.
