I read a lot of people complaining about disabilty fraud on here. Go to and report them. Complaining on Topix won't change the fact they are draining us taxpayers.

I hope that whoever uses this information actually KNOW 100% what they are talking about and not just what they think is happening. People can be pretty vindictive on here.

I live behind 84 lumber, There is so many who say they are disabled and they work! So I turned them in, The lady told me, They spy on these people and catch them, They only need a tip. They get the proof. People miss using the system have to pay they money back. This is why are taxs are so high! You can also print out the form and put your tip on there and you dont have to give your name or anything they pay people to take pictures of these crooks and that is there proof.

You can be on disability AND earn money. I qualify for $1600 a month and can also earn another $1400-$1600 a month. So...when you go reporting people...keep this in mind. More than likely you will be costing the gov't MORE money in the investigation when you don't know all the facts.

I do know these people are NOT sopose to be working you must be one of them! I work 5 days a week to feed my kids, and my wife works 5 days as well. We have no health Insurance however, Some people are scammers and have all their health covered and sell their pills, and get money to boot. Why tax payers pay for them to play! If I know who you are you will be reported!

I know for a fact they are ok to work! They have told me, They are fakes! They are paid cash. They told me! If you one of them and I know about it, I will tell on you too. I work 5 days a week and my wife as well we have NO health Insurance! They have a ride on the tax payers! The free ride is over!

yes i draw disability not ssi which is totally different
i worked i got hurt i draw disability i draw what i paid into the system.
ssi is a welfare check. that is the one that is being abused.
i do not draw food stamps, yes my kids get a medical card only.i do not go to the food banks or get heat assitance in the winter either. to me they're is someone else worse off then me.i'm not able to work, but i do not have to have my hand out for everything coming and going either. yes i understand where people are tried of all the free rides others take. i felt that way when i worked.

i get SSI because i didnt have enough credits to get Disability. I get it because I have serious medical problems and my surgeon is the one who told me to apply. Yes you are allowed to work when you are on SSI or Disability, but you are only allowed to make a certain amount. Its called Ticket To Work. I do believe there is alot of people that are scamming to get it. I'm not from here, but I have noticed that ALOT of people around here get it for "Mental Issues". I think its a crock. What can you do if you know the doctor that is helping most of these people get it, knowing that they are able to work?

And by the way SSI is not a welfare check. It comes from the social security office just the same as disability. Welfare comes from the welfare office. Thats 2 different things.

You can report me all you want. I'm not on it yet but will be next year and I can LEGALLY earn an additional 1400-1600 a month. I've paid it in and will be drawing it back out. If you don't like it, bite me. No insurance, pills, food stamps, etc, just the money.

However, if I can find ajob that would accomodate me, I won't go on it. It's just a safety net for me.

I would not HAVE to work while on it but feel like I should make as much as I can. No point sitting around the house all day doing nothing.

Keep in mind, it is each person's decision to do some work or not while on disability. It's really not any of your business as you may/may not have all the facts. Yes, there are those that misuse it or take advantage of it but there are also those like myself that use it legitimately. Your earlier posts was very inclusive of everyone. The truth is people can draw it and still work and make more money up to an established limit. Like it or not, that is fact.

that's bullshit. if you can legally earn that much while drawing disability, you don't need disability in the first place. that's for people who can't work at all and really need the help.
keep in mind that that amount is only a fraction of what I've made...used to make. I made money, paid more taxes, and so will be able to draw more than the average person. I didn't say I WILL be making 1400-1600 a month on top of it but said legally I COULD.
