"The Republican National Committee has announced it's changing the emblem of the Republican Party - from an elephant to a condom.

The Republican National Chairman explained that the condom more clearly reflects the Party's current stance... owing to the fact that a condom accepts inflation, halts production, destroys the next generation, protects a bunch of pricks, and gives you a sense of security while you're actually being screwed.

Please make certain your Republican friends make the appropriate changes on any of their campaign literature."

Well the Democrats new emblem is that of a homeless bum with his hand out begging for a freebie

Nothing more to say it sums it up as is.

Then why the hell is he still homeless?

Of course, to a Republican this man is worthless. He would be a sign of weakness. He doesn't attend church & he's no longer a participant in corporate profit. A scary person to be around your children. Oh, the children!

Don't forget that it prevents abortions.
It was made in Taiwan for 1/20 of a penny (corporate profit!).
Which is why it breaks when you need it the most.
Yet it's Sole Focus has always been "Protection from the ____ threat(s)".

Finally a vagina is a great place for Republicans to create legislation- it's warm, dark, and nobody can see what your doing. But you can sure feel residual effects left over from under the Bush.

The Dems symbol of a donkey might be appropriate, But the GOP/TeaParty should change their symbol to a swarm of locusts. They just leave a path of destruction where ever they go.

He is homelss cause he is a tax payer sponging bum who has no will power or initiative to get off his ass and get a job. If he can't find a job then start his own business or if he chooses to be homeless he gets what he gets.
As long as he isn't wasting my tax dollars and extending his hand out to me.

for goods sake we have cripples, mentally challanged people, and all other forms of disabled people working, so don't make some lame excuse for these democrap loving bums.

Inopportunity does not constitute lack of willpower. As far as starting a business, it takes money to make money. Loans? It takes credit to get loans and it takes money to get credit. Jobs??? I'm a Registered Nurse who, despite hashing out 30 resumes/Apps a month, has been unemployed. Most seasoned nurses aren't in my shoes though.

Jobs? A single misdemeanor could bar this man from employment indefinitely. Second chances? Ha funny! Maybe he is crazy or addicted. Maybe he's fought to be cured! But if he's been in legal trouble, that work is in vain.

It takes government to endorse occupational or mental-health rehabilitation. Yes, taxpayers should have no long-term commitment to this man. But REAL life can be a b*tch; people who come from a familial background of poverty are down and out atleast every once in awhile, no matter the personal will or hard work- & there's no need to kick em when they down... How about a few good meals and occupational counseling? Terms and conditions for help (drug testing)? Time limit for help?

Eventually, some people become helpless for MANY DIFFERENT reasons. Thank God for Wayside.

What tax break? They did not want to STOP unemployment they just wanted some responsibility as to how it would be paid for. And all the Dem or Rep bullcrap is why this country is in the mess it is. They all (politicians) forget about the real issues and only want the Dem or the Rep (which ever they are) to be in charge or win a battle. To hell with the rest of us. So before people dog one party or the other think about the person running for the position not just a dem or rep. I think both parties should be done away with then all this partisan bullcrap wouldn't exist. But no matter what people do they should vote and actually think about who they are voting for.

WHAT tax break???? Do you not watch the NEWS? I do vote for who I think will do the best job! But I'm tired of being dogged out by republicans who think it's their way or NO way, and they hope our current president fails! We need to all support the president, whether he's a democrat or a republican!

And dem don't think the same way, my way or no way? Thats the point I was trying to make people group all dems or all rep into a single category. I agree need to support president but that never really happens, whoever is at the top is gonna get trashed by the other party and that isn't fair either. But you never said what the big tax break for the RICH was. I watch the news but can you really go by that, the media pushes info into public that suits their needs or their parties agenda. I haven't heard of a tax break that was passed for the rich. What was the name of the legislation?

President Obama said in a speech that the republicans gave the rich a tax break but do not want to extend unemployment, yes I can believe my news, it's been very accurate, the only news that's not is fox it's owned by republicans!!! You could probably google the name of the tax break legislation.

That sounds like Obama playing the party card like most politicians. Because I believe that the Democrats have the majority vote at this point so if a bill passed giving the wealthy a tax break then the Democrats should have had the power to not let it pass.

Well if you don't like real life in America then leave. I have also never worked for a poor person, so why can't the rich get a tax break?

Yous guys priorities are all wrong. You complain about not getting hired after 30 resumes. Hum? Must say something about you you do not wish to disclose, but you need to take a good look in the mirror. I am also sure that you could get a job doing something else until you find a nursing job.

See the problem with you and the bum is that you want it your way right away and America just ain't Burger King.
Get off your lazy ass and do something about it.

I don't get my political news from topix. Mitch McConnels office said the hookup on unemployment was because dems won't fund it. they passed a bin themselves saying all bills MUST be funded last session.

OOPs! Meant holdup and not hookup. Lol and bill instead of bin. Damnword predict Fox News is the best Network for the news. They are always the first with damaging news for either side. The way news should be reported! Cbs abc nbc and CNN brainwashed us for 30 years. Fox reports the news and doesn't spin it. Before you start crying about their opinion shows (which I love all of them) they are presented as opinion. I love Beck, O'reilly and Hannity. Long live Fox News!

So we should listen to ONE cable news source because all of the others are too left leaning? That doesn't make sense. One should always compare multiple sources (I do, Fox included) and make his or her own judgment. However, I can't help but notice that the sources who tend to implore that you listen only to them and ignore the others are the right wingers (Rush, Beck, Mark Levin). This makes me instantly suspicious.
