Screw Flaget, they told me when I had double pneumonia that it was my tonsils even though my sign in forms showed my tonsils had been removed, then the dr. went to say it was possibly my gallbladder, also on the sheet in her hands, as having been removed. Either look down on the sheet and make an educated guess or tell me the truth that you haven't a damn clue what is going on. Waste of $$$ and time.

"Why don't you go to the dr???" An emergency room IS for emergencies or when doctors aren't able to be reached idiot.

Hospitals are for actual emergencies- but DUMBASS- any idea how many people use the ER instead of going to the doctor? Because people have to PAY when they to the doctor.

And in the above story- were both the diagnoses on the same visit?

That place is a fucking joke. Their ER is slow, incompetent, and improperly run. If you are admitted they are good to you, but the incompetency of the doctors is astounding. They have dangerously misdiagnosed my nephew twice; not to mention two of my friends, one of which was having an ectopic pregnancy and almost died. Part of the problem is that Dr. Abrams is their Chief of Staff and he is an incompetent and pompous ass. Dr. Kaliefeh quit delivering babies there because their labor and delivery department is a disgrace. It's a shame that such a new, expensive hospital is so terrible. You'd think they could do better.

I think that hospital is and always has been good. My whole family was born there and multiplie people in my family including me have been treated there and everything went flawless every time.

you must work there .because there all about the money first treat the patient after they get your insurance information.by then you could be dead .jewish hospital is the best. they take time and you don"t have two wait 10 hour there .

I went back in the fall to the ER and they didn't even mention insurance until they had finished my treatment. The staff was wonderful.

Just last night at flaget a women died giving birth. She bled to death and the baby didn't make it either!:(

UHHHH...for the record...we have three sets of tonsils...the lingual, pharyngeal and palatine...you very well could have had a tonsil issue...

the woman wasn't far along in the pregnancy...tubal pregnancy. she wasn't even there for that issue is what i hear, but died from it.

I was down in my back and went to sit down on the couch and could not get up in was the weekend my husband called and ambulance and heytook me to flaget and I never say the doctor on call they sent me for a xray said I was fine they never offered me any help with pain it took two nurses to help me get to the wheel chair I thought I was going to just die went home and went to my doctor on monday sent me in for a MRI found out I had early set degenertive disk, two herniated disk one with a anual tear. I new I was having a probelm the hospital just didnt take the time out to take a real close look at me.
