This is happening in our small town and we have to care enough about our community to take a stand. Another mangled Pit Bull was turned into the shelter last week. Who knows about it????

Sounds like to many people with tooo much info. And to put it all out in the street is not good.Do you not realize that when you talk about people that bring dogs in.Really thats not a good thought because they could put them in the drop off kennel with no info. Not sure the situation but if i found the dog and was nice enough and drove it there i would not want to be shamed as i turned it .

Little Ms informed the point was do you think they would bring it in and sign there name had they been fighting the dog.Well i would say they are smarter than that. And as far as the camera'sss thats not a good trick either. They would put on a face mask.So get real. You would have to see it.My point is why would you post it every time an injured dog was brought in? Let the police do there job.You can't just say well the dog is beat up i know you have been fighting it.You have to have proof. We have great officers in the city and county they would be glad to help .I am not being mean so please don't take this wrong.

Wow!!! Talk about misinformed. How can spreading awareness and wanting to make a difference "not a good thought". Whether they drop them off at the shelter, in the drop off kennel, or throw them on the side of the road by a distrillery is irrelevant. The issue is vicious and inhumane acts upon animals are taking place in our own backyard and something needs to be done about it. As for "if you found the dog and was nice enough and drove it there I would not want to be shamed as i turned it" I don't think that was the concern. The concern was does anyone know any information about the dog that was abused and dropped off at the shelter. Besides that, if an honest citizen ran across a mangled dog I would hope that their first stop would be a veterinary's office to try and save the dog.
