The article in the Standard was a great article for a truly desperate candidate. The issue is valid, but David waits till an election year to file it. He is a gimic person, not to mention a self-centered person. One thing to note on this campaign, Dick Heaton has raised over 80k in campaign donations compared to Floyd getting mainly family and PAC money of under 30k. His own party will not give Floyd money. And the key indicator is if Floyd will spend his 100k money that he likes to bluff each election cycle. Watch how many Republicans give to Heaton vs. Floyd. It is sad, but he put himself into this lonely place.

Floyd was striped of power by his own party, rejected by his own local party, and proved to be a friend only to himself. Dick Heaton will mop him up this election cycle and good riddens

Yeah everyone can see right through the last ditch effort to win votes. He has not done one thing since he was elected except some stupid bill that he tacked on an abortion clause to. When will these candidates realize nobody wants any abortion laws messed with one way or another!!??Leave it alone! If you're against it don't do it, tell your friends and family and everyone else you know not to do it, but quit trying to tack a law onto unrelated road construction bill and try to sneak it in!!

who care about him losing, the paper called it right. I am more worried about the judge race. Judge Heato was a good judge, but Kelley? He is a child and corrupt, dawson is just an older version of Kelly. McKay is really the only choice for a good judge

I can't blame the guy for toking up— he survived cancer.

While I'm on my soapbox here— Kentucky would be one of the wealthiest states in the nation if marijuana was legalized. Right now the state is in the midst of what is best described as a 'pain pill addiction epidemic'. When you legalize and regulate marijuana, you take the power away from the drug dealers, who are usually pushing more than a small quantity of weed... I heard heroin is making a comeback. When you legalize marijuana, you would take the backbone out of the drug trade in Kentucky, in the sense that many of the people who are pushing heroin are probably also selling marijuana. And I'd be willing to bet those same dealers make most of their money from selling marijuana.

David Floyd was flying mission sorties while getting anti-aircraft fire over Iraq while Dick Heaton was peddling used cars and while you were still wetting your diapers, and has more courage in his pinky then you have in your whole body. I'll stand by Dave.

stand by your man. Just don't stand to close. Dave is a crook. I know the man. Somebody ought to ask to see his last twenty years of tax returns. You'd be AMAZED at what he claims

You are a slanderous fool. You don't know him, don't know what his tax returns claim, you are merely a sniveling lowlife with an ax to grind. Typical unemployed tea party misfit with nothing but a computer keyboard to keep you company. I know you.

Dave served in the military, but that does not mean much given he destroyed his local party. He will not be getting many votes from the military, heck they ignored him at the nelson county event for the local unit in town. He looked like a fool. He is rude, talks downs to people and cannot get over himself. he will lose and good riddance
