Unfortunately the new qualified candidates are on the Republican side. They are sharp, educated, and experienced, and talk good. Our Democrat control will slip this year because of crap we are running. People voting for Rob did not watch the debate, and there are not enough people hating Watts to win it for him. He is unprepared and more of a joke than Watts. We can fight this time around, but these Republicans will make gains.

Lmfao, these wannabes are more educated, experienced and well spoeken, so I care that they will win. Limp wristed sounds more like Watts, and after watching Rob he is super limp wristed. If the Democrats want to keep power, they better start getting real candidates. My choices on the Democratic ticket simply suck.

Does any one know what happen to Hutchin's & Tropaz (or how ever you spell his name). I can't believe more candidates weren't just jumping at the chance for this office. I believe that there are a lot of residents in Bardstown who don't want to see Watt's back in office. But again, you're right, there's not much choice in this race.

What's to know? Tim is not filed yet and Pete is going to the general election. Is that what you are asking?

Yes, I thought Hutchins had filed and I wasn't sure about the other guy at all. I have not seen any campaign signs or any sign of either running in this race. Thanks.

Tim filed an intent, but is weighing to run. He knows he splits the good old vote, but his ego will get in the way. That is just Tim. The Republican does not have to do anything, he won his primary already. Despite that, I know he is out there cause people are talking how much he is doing. Embarassing that some upstart is doing more than the incumbants.

Funny! What do you think, will he, does he have a chance? Don't know the guy at all, but from what I'm hearing, he's "ego bound as you say", but liked.

Tim is ego bound, but Tim is about Tim. Too many people know this. If the Democrats are to win this in November, they need to get Tim to stay out, put tons of Smith money behind Watts in back channels, and work with Watts to act nicer. The debates showed Rob is done, and Tim will do no better. But, my Democratic friends will fail cause they dont listen.

No, it is just looking up Tim's big asshole which is stuck in Watt's mouth. It is not hard to see how things work around here. I am done. Enough on topixs, and I am now joining the campaign to take these incumbants down. Good bye everyone, I am now actually going to do something for my community and stop talking and gossiping.

I met Tim at a Chamber of Commerce Meeting about two months ago. Seemed like a nice person, did not realize who Tim was until later after I posted Tim Who? My thoughts are that sometimes if a person is in office too long it will turn out like in Louisville and the Jerry Abramson problem. Jerry is a wonderful person, but has lost his political touch with his current office. I wish him the best with Steve Brasher in the Govenor race. Dean seems like a nice person and has done well by the community over the years, but maybe it is time for a new face. I am new to the community and have lived here six years. I just hope someone gets in that will embrace change and let us Newcomers feel we are a part of the community we pay taxes in and do our shopping in.

Watts makes Jerry Abramsom look like a saint. If you look in that bald spot on the back of his head I swear it looks like a group of three six's

Jerry is not as people oriented as he once was. Dean impressed me when he was able to settle the problem with the Monin Family. Do not know any more about him beyond that. I was never so embarrased as I was when we first moved here with all those signs around town with all the negative stuff written on it and it was at the height of our Tourist season. How he conducts business I can not comment on because I don't know.

Watts was the one who caused all the problems. I know you are new, but when Dean is talking he is lying most of the time. Call some of the Monin's up, and you find out real quick their negative opinion of Dean. The Ballards own Watts, the reason why they got the Walmart and Lowe's

Dean likes to claim things. He got involved and muscled the my family to break up the deal to sell our farm to Walmart. He claimed he fixed 8 bridges, but forgets to tell you they were not certified with the State. Then we will tell you how much he loves Kim Houston, but then forgets to tell you he tried to fire her last year. And he always settles problems, but only the ones he started in the first place. The tree on Plum Run is a classic case. If you read the article, he was all about public safety to cut it down, then by the end, he claimed he did not because of people wanting it. He speaks in opposites. Check out his money connections in town, and things become real clear, real quick. That is why people openly hate him across the county, unless you are a good old boy. Hope the county is treating you well.

Watts promised Monin the new high school and the bypass/ring road. The School Board went to the Ballards and put some money down on the New Haven Rd property without Deans knowledge and approval. That fell thru and the school went back out to 245 again, but not on Monin this time!

Monin got screwed by Watts! Again!
