the name hasn't been released yet, pictures of the wreck are on the Springfield, Ky Sun web site.
A guy's who works at Tower's girfriend was in the second car. He went to the wreck and said the semi truck had landed on it's side on the 3rd car. |

A four-vehicle accident Friday morning on US 150 between Bardstown and Springfield has claimed the life of Victor Walters, 45, of Elizabethtown. Walters was killed when the 2001 Honda he was driving was hit by a tractor-trailer driven by Stephen Sizemore, 54, of Somerset. According to a report by Kentucky State Police, Sizemore had fallen asleep at the wheel of the 1999 Peterbilt semi. He collided with two other vehicles, which resulted in minor injuries, and then struck the front of Walters' Honda, and the truck turned over on Walters' car. Prayers go out to the family of the poor guy who died in this accident.
From reading the story it sounds like the other drivers were very lucky to escape this accident without any major injuries, my prayers and thoughts are with the these drivers and families as well and hope for speedy recoverys. |
