i work there as a contract associate. it has been goin round the plant for a while. it the place closes then we will probably loose our jobs. the funny thing is that they are tryin to get more business in.

of course if the plant closes you will lose your job - there is no "probably" about it. They are trying to get business in so it can be transferred to other facilities in the future. customers don't care where its made. also new busienss helps attract industries that might want to buy it. anyway, big trouble for sure.

they're about done here in Bardstown anyhow. Last I heard back in December they would shut down 2nd quarter 2012 and vacate by the end of the year.
Not sure if that's still the case as the new warehouse is going elsewhere.

The Japan Fair Trade Commission (JFTC) issued cease and desist orders and surcharge payment orders based on Article 7(2) and Article 7-2(1) of the Antimonopoly Act (AMA) respectively toautomotive parts manufacturers listed below.The companies conspired in procurements of automotive generators, automotive starters, automotive windshield wiper systems, and automotive radiators and electrical fans (note1) orderedby automobile companies (note2), which constitute violations of the AMA.
The JFTC initiated the investigation in July 2011 at around the same time as other competition authorities including the United States Department of Justice.
