I don't do Facebook, so, no, I have not seen it.
I can tell you I was born and raised in Louisiana, still have a lot of family there throughout the state.
There are many placestoday a white person doesn't enter, and vice-versa, without a good chance of getting beaten, raped, or killed.
Racism is very much alive in America.

You clearly havent seen the Video! The bouncer says "Blacks cant go in" Im not saying the bouncer is racist, he was just doing his job. But someone there told him to say that. it doesnt give you the warm and fuzzies! Bottoms is in Raywick not Bardstown.

I agree that racism is still present in America. However when black people say "racist" they mean white against black and that is not the case. Racism exists among all races and cultures. I have had many experiences in which I experienced racism against myself. Black people are just as racist as white people. I am tired of every time a black man gets pulled over it's because he is black. Umm, white people get pulled over too, it's called a cop doing his job. I'm not saying it's never because of race, because I am sure that sometimes it is. But it has become an excuse more that a reality. I have seen the video and i agree that those people were wrong. But I know a cousin of the guy in the video and he is a disrespectful, rude person. I have seen him act this way in public many times. If you want people to respect you no matter what your race, maybe you should earn it. Also, what black person wants to go to a bar in Raywick? I'm white and I don't want to go to a bar in Raywick.

I used to bounce in Raywick and had a blast. A black guy showed up one time...no issues......a hell of a lot of looks but no issues. The next week there were 5. I was with another bouncer and he asked them "Are you guys lost or something?" LOL. The next weekend the owner said he would put a stop to it and he did. They never came back.

I don't go looking for trouble in the hood or a black bar. they should know better than go to a bar in Raywick.

Never been to Bottoms Up but would like to go. At least I won't have to worry about seeing a guy's butt crack or underwear while his pants are falling off his ass. Or a grill....had to stare at one last week.$10 worth on clothes on him but wasted several hundred or thousand for a mouth piece. Yep...there's a winner.

I was delighted to see some intelligent conversation about the video. We don't know the "context" of the video or what transpired before they started filming. And to be honest, if the manager or owner does want to serve someone; the decision should be their choice. He has the responsibility, as the owner, to keep his patrons and non-patrons safe. If we, the consumer, do not like or agree with the establishments policies; then we should show our disapproval by not frequenting the establishment. Let's not make everything about racism because it is a hot topic. I am white and there are a plenty of places I wonÂ’t frequent in Raywick or West End of Louisville. We have the control as consumers. You are the only one that chooses where to spend your hard earned money. I have been there and trust me no race is missing anything. To each their own and take responsibility for your own destiny. Why would you want to be around a bunch of small minded people anyway?

So then maybe not a race thing since he has the right to refuse service the bus drivers should be allowed to put black people back in the back of the bus. Whites only water fountains and pools should come back.... oh wait. I believe that's illegal now. He has the right to refuse service, but not due to skin color. This is illegal and immoral.

Damn, just when I thought it was intelligent minded people discussing the incident. I say let's call Christopher 2X and off with their heads!

Once again, let your dollars decide your choice. Let's not incite mass hysteria over one bouncer's mis- appropriate behavior and a group of friends mis-appropriate behavior. I think it is very obvious from the video the group was very confrontational and knew the outcome. Why did they have the video camera rolling anyway? Hello? OMG, somebody treated me unfairly. Grow up! I was not allowed in a bar in Nashville because it's my type of bar. And if I had a video of my incident it would not be news. Get over it! It's not a race thing! There really is a bigger world than one night in Raywick!

Well I think it is a racist situation! I think it needs to be broadcast on tv ! We need to get the word out, this guy should of never been treated like this! We all bleed the same color blood! And every heart beats the same ! Love one another , let color be blind! God bless America! Peace

Lol that videos hilarious! Fyi! Don't go somewhere you're not wanted! I'm white so when I lived in Louisville I didn't go to clubs down on market street. I'm white so now that I live in bardstown I don't go to St.Monica's church. Maybe they didn't tell me I wasn't welcome but Im smart enough to figure out that mostly black people go there and I realize I'm white. Whether we admit it or not...... segregation still exists. We do it naturally. People are naturally drawn to others like themselves
