Five or more plants can be 5 plants or 100 plants. Look at the charges pending in the court case... It says 5 or more. Not 5 or less. That info was straight out of the Nelson County court docket.

I just read the article..and now I know what the comment was about. They had 2 plants and are elderly and it was probably for personal use. But, unfortunately Ky isnt a medical use state..so you can get arrested for having 1 plant. Too bad this isnt a medical use state. My pain would probably be more tolerable.

Is it true he has a bunch of kids at the house too? I know it's not a lot of pot, but I'm sure he could spend his time more wisely.

They got Greer for 5 or more plants..There were 2 older people that they arrested for having 2 plants on their patio.

the dumbazzes had it growing outside.
in case no one paid attention, this has been a severely dry summer.
pot growing outdoors shows-up like a sore thumb (at night) from the air with night vision goggles.
no one ratted on anyone; the dumbazzes ratted their own selves out by being stupid.
stupid is as stupid does.

What can we do to stop the senseless waste of our tax dollars. I'm sure the federal government gives them an allowance every year, and they have to spend it or they won't get it next year. Again what can we do about it?

Why is it a senseless waste of tax dollars. Pot is illegal. I just wish they would use more resources on pills, meth and heroine and cocaine. All drugs are a big issue in Nelson County,

Most around the area where potheads when they were teenagers/kids, most grew out of it, apparently some haven't....hard to change a culture when no one wants to support the change.

It isnt dumb to want drugs off the streets. Pot isnt legal, if it was people wouldnt get arrested for it. It also isnt dumb for me to say they need to put more resources into getting the hard drugs and pills and the people that sell and manufacture in jail to stay. Drugs are drugs...

All would agree, but seriously, who the hell grows weed in their house with kids around? Hard drug or not, it's illegal and shouldn't be around innocent children. Is saving a couple bucks for a high worth jeopardizing your future and possible jail time?!?! You have to be a freakin idiot to think so. Congratulations you made the front page!

That's correct that it came out of the court docket. However, that doesn't mean it is true....what happen to innocent until proven guilty????? That's why we have a judicial system....there are times when it works like it is suppose to......hope it does. I understand there were no drugs found in his home as it has been said in the paper. I am sure that will be made known when the time comes to go to trial. People really should not assume what is printed in the paper is accurate...they never get it right. The court docket does not say there were drugs found in the home, only 5 or more plants were found. This may not even be correct, who really knows. I hate to see good people slandered when it is not due......good people can make bad choices. I wonder how many people can honestly say they have not made bad choices in their lifetime? Maybe you did not get caught.....but I bet you are glad you didn't....something to think about.

I never said he was guilty or innocent. I printed what the court docket says. And yes he will have his day in court. But he better have a real good attorney to prove his innocence.

And NO I dont grow pot or make or sell drugs..So I dont have to worry about getting caught..or feel lucky that I havent been caught.

Paper said the plants were beside his house, but he had Other things in the house. Who knows what's true. Everyone has made mistakes, but knowingly growing drugs in yor back yard with kids is unacceptable. I doubt he'll be charged with a felony and I don't think he should, however, he should serve some amount time and pay a hefty fine for being an idiot.

Well another alternative would be to go through Drug Court..that will take up a lot of his time..and they will test him.

I see my post got a clueless and a disagree..fair enough...I try not to post to much on this site as I'm not living there anymore and still know and have family that are there in Bardstown. But I will say this..I am far from clueless in my observation of Nelson County and it's culture with weed...for christ sakes it use to be grown in the greenhouse at Nelson County High School and out in the woods behind it. Everyone that I went to school was into it, either growing/selling/using...most grew out of it and some didn't as in the case of Greer, I went to school with him as well. I don't have a bad word to say about him but he wasn't the only involved in this so keep that in mind as well. Most of your high level socialites there in the county have their hands green as the weed itself deep into the business. So before you call my post clueless look around and tell me what you see..you yourself are probably just as guility as they are but since you haven't been caught yet, it's ok. Probably go to church and are so whole heartly involved in youth programs in the county and donate to this and that, save it, don't need your kind in this world, should have had your life card taken a long time ago.
