Seven face charges after attempted robbery
Police say a man foiled a robbery attempt on his property.

Seven people face charges.

The Knox County Sheriff's Office says the victim spotted four men loading up some of his equipment.

Deputies say the victim confronted the men with a gun, but it was wrestled away.

Three of the men ran off, but deputies say a fourth, Kenneth Hooker, got into a fight with the victim.

Three other people were charged for helping the suspects run from the scene.

Investigators say they are looking to see if the same group is behind other thefts at this property.

We were told an eighth arrest is likely.

Ted Davis was one . They got Johnnie rice too i heard. i dont know just heard they tried to rob some guys junkyard and got caught

Does this Kenneth Hooker have a Brother named Mark? Is he from the Hooker Family from down on 3rd street in Barbourville? This is the one I know an he has been in Jail many times for stealing. Just Wandering if this is the same one.
