Corbin showed the team how it's done.I hope they learned something because the officials tried to give it to us and we still could couldn't score. Players getting mad trying to fight makes us look like the redneck stupid idiots people think we are. It was a embarrassment to the team. Congratulations to Corbin on the win..... Class act.

The problem is there is no unity/leadership on the team. The boys run that team and it's divided into certain groups. They don't pull together. Its all a "one man" show and everybody tries to be that one man. I've never seen a more dysfunctional group. Coaches need to be the coaches and the boys need to know their place as players. Maybe this loosing season will wake them up.

The problems within the team,...as you describe them,.... are a direct reflection of what the players see in the community and its leaders. It is not right to blame the players or their coaches for being a reflection of their enviroment. Monkey see, Monkey doooo.

Attitude reflects Leadership! The coaching staff is the joke... Players do what coaches tell them to do so it's either poor coaching or inability to lead. Players trash talking and picking fights EVERY game is a embarrassment to the fans and community as a whole. Coaches if you can't control your team then get another job where being respectful of your uniform isn't required.

The players and coaches look in the stands and see dumb azz parents fighting, screaming and cursing the coaches and refs and the opposing team and players. Then they go home and hear the same stuff, then get on facebook or topix and see the same thing. You expect the coaches to straighten out the disfunctional attitudes of young people you have spent years teaching and coaching at home....get real.
If the young ones are taught to respect themselves and others at home, then that respect will go with them everywhere. If they are not taught to practice respect at home then you will have what you have...loosers...dont blame others for what you create.

The only coach that is respected is Coach Martin...the rest are J O K E S! Poor Coach Russell, four brain cells....so sad. The rest are too young and immature to be coaching.

Wonder why they don't respect their coaches? They have all been taught to respect other people right? You people are the JOKES, not the players or coaches...they are the victims of your stupidity.

So not true. My daughter is in a sport and her fellow team mates are punished for attitude problems. They are benched for disrespecting each other as well as the coaches. There is not attitude or respect problems with her. So your statement is not typical of all players. Coaches need to step up have a back bone and show who leads the team. And if kids are being taught disrespect, then a group or team setting is where disrespect SHOULDNT be allowed. Sorry but I disagree with you. You can plainly see the division on the team. And I have never been to a ball game where parents didn't get mad, upset or yell. I get excited myself, but it's all for the love of the game.

This is a recreational past time for God's sake! Kids are out there to engage in a pro social activity . It's not the Super Bowl. It's kids, friends, parents , and others watching our young men play a game. The team doesn't suck, the coaches do not suck, it's a dang game. Bruised egos usually come from daddies and mommies who are overly involved and overstep their boundaries ( I have been one of them). No one will remember the game in a month or two. Why not be supportive of the kids and the men who put the time in to work with the kids? The coaches are good honest men who want to win the games and who appear to care about these kids at knox central. There may not even be great life lessons to be learned on the field except that the game was fun to play. Let's get behind our kids in the home . Open them up to literature nature science manners Church God scoring high and achieving in the academic arena . Let the kids play and let the coaches coach and most all teach the kid at home - it will all work better this way by taking a step towards the things that truest mstter

Knox Central going 6-4 is not a losing season, They played a tougher schedule this year and most important made the playoffs!!

Long season. Only beat poor teams. Mercer will kill KC. Russell is a good guy but if he wants to be a good coach he needs to light up those upper classmen who think picking on Freshmen is leadership. I heard one Freshmen had to whoop an uppers ass. Good for him. But it should not come to that.

75% or more of the players are dope heads. That is the problem. Coaches know but want a win more than showing the kids the right direction of becoming great young men. I think there should be drug testing before every game and at least a random test during the week.

The bullying on the football team is ridiculous. Its not a TEAM if 1/2 the team is bashing the other 1/2. If the coaches don't fix it the team will never be as whole and good as it should. I'm ashamed that the coaches allow bullying. What a shame and disgrace.

There is so much outside interference for all involved. U have one family that has had control over the football program and the basketball program for years. They also, drag in a a couple of other parents that can make their son the star.
