You need one. What IS my legal rights? Come on. You should know better than that. Though I agree that many KC teachers use the same grammar and you should not be the only one gone.

Who cares? You have a college education why don't you go over to the nurseing home and clean tale for a living. I see why some on here compare you all to welfare people. Your first thoughts was whom can I sue over this. Isn't that just like freeloaders?

Some teachers work hard, I had a few. Most just float through their day, I had several. I suppose it is comparable to people on "the draw". Some actually need it, but most are just lazy....

Its not a hard job. Why does a first year teacher make more than first year soldier? Off course I think everything should be compared to the payrate of a soldier. Thats a hard job.

A soldier has a very difficult job, thats very true--but its a job you sign up for and begin with no previous training. A teacher has at least a 4 year degree, so that's why the pay is higher.

So, 4 years of frat parties is more valuable than putting your life on the line daily?

I understand, you are saying "screw the soldiers, they volunteered for it, and their 24 hour days, months away from home in a combat zone, PTSD, wounds, friends that die, and the possibility of death is nothing when compared to the horrors EKU."

Does that about sum it up. Makes complete sense.

Frat parties? Really? THAT is the best you can come up with? And the rage and ignorance of whome you MAY be speaking to shows your ignorance. I am a college graduate married to a VETERAN. MY college time included no parties, frat or otherwise. It DID include sacrificing time I could have spent with my children and other family to study and complete my degree.

These soldiers signed up to do a JOB. a job that they knew would be hard, dangerous, and possibly cost them their life. THANK GOD they are there to do it, but do not dismiss the fact that someone else spent years getting and PAYING for an education to make a higher wage--and not everyone is cut out for the military.

in my opinion ALL of KCHS's teachers should have been pink slipped. At least then they could attempt to make the students work for a better education. Those teachers didnt give a shit, they just went in and gave them work and didnt even try to help them out.

Tell me how you know that all teachers deserve to be fired. Are you in EVERY school watching EVERY teacher? Too many people are out here complaining and not enough of you doing anything to make things better. If you think you have the key to success, then you need to go back to school and get your degree. Stop griping and do something more than complain!!!

Why is nobody brave enough to name the names of inadequate teachers? All I ever see on here is blanket excuses on why your kids are in truancy and how your kids' teachers are pieces of crap for turning them in for YOUR weaknesses. Doesn't anyone on here have a spine? Lots of talk but no action... no volunteerism- no one accepting responsibility for anything. Just weak complaints and passing off the buck...

I agree with you completely there, not everyone is cut out for every job. Different jobs suit different people...they have different skill levels, different qualifications....and that usually means the PAY SCALE is different too....
