<quoted text>Did not say education determined if someone is going to take care of their home. I said that I would not rent my home to someone without a high school education. If they did not have the value system to apply themselves and complete high school it says they may not have the value systems to care for my property. Sure they may be great tenants, But after dealing with far too many that have a sense of entitlement, no self responsibility and little regard for other peoples property I reserves the right to limit who I allow to have control over my property. No one has the Right to live in my properties, I reserve the right to limit my liability for what ever reason I wish. Besides having a high schools education (which also means you are more likely to have a job to pay the rent) I will not rent to someone that walks in with their pants downs around their knees, tattoos on their face, drunk, stoned or have flies following their stank a$$ as they walk up the sidewalk.

Think that's harsh?, don't care, as I have put larges amounts of my hard earned money into my properties and I reserve the right to judge those that I give access to that property by my standards. If you cannot meet my standards then don't even ask to rent from me, very simple.
So your telling me that if a person in their lets say mid 40's to 50's with a job and a small family with no Highschool diploma wanted to rent from you you'd say no? Einstein was a drop out and look at him! Now I could see a younger person being irresponsible and such. The age and having a job would concern me more. I could care less if they had a diploma or not.

Of course there are always exceptions to any rules. If I would know someone for a while and have experience with their ability to be responsible in their lives that would color my judgements. There are always exceptions but I was speaking in general terms. I might have someone with a PHD, that has a great work history, want to live in one of my properties but when I walk up to their car and there's garbage stacked up to the seat and empty beer cans fall out on the ground when the door opens I would not rent to them either.

My point was that if you folks want to rent a home that someone has a very large investment in then clean up your act, prepare to answer questions that you think way too personal, and yes for your own futures, stay in school or at least apply yourself and get your GED. Those choices you make when you are 16,17,18,19,20 will impact your lives later down the road. When you choose to have a swastika tattooed on your fore head, When you choose to dress in thug styles, when you choose to have 30 piercings in your face, when you choose to drop out of school, when you choose to do things that give you a criminal record then don't blame others when they choose to turn you away in your future.

If you were to judge me by my car, I'd be screwed lol My house on the other hand is clean. I spend a great deal of time in my car along with my son and sometimes it gets a lil piled up.

We need you to run the Housing and Urban Development agency in Washington, DC. Take no stuff from people that think they are owed something because they exist. I don't understand people anymore. I don't know how they can be given a nice place to live virtually free then trash it and live in filth. They don't know or see what the problem is and why someone would want to rent to them.
