Why can't the DBF have wrist bands for one price like the Nibroc and Chicken festivals do? The DBF is one of the only festivals around that hasn't switched to the wrist bands instead of tickets for the rides. Have you ever noticed how all the other festivals have better musical entertainment too. Whoever is in charge of the DBF needs to make some serious changes if they want people to continue to attend year after year.

Yes it is a ripoff.. When they have the festivals in Pineville and Middlesboro you can buy arm bands for 15.00 and ride all the rides.. So don't tell me that it can't be done here..People should not buy the tickets and they would bring the price down..

Yes, this is what I was getting at. But everyone kept saying all the other festival's are just like the Daniel Boone. The wrist bands prove that drastically wrong.

Why don't we just stop charging for everything! Last week people bitched about the cost for the DBF padgeant...now we are bitching about the cost off DBF ride tickets. Why don't we just make everything free? Food, Cars, Houses, Etc....

I don't think you are understanding!!!! So let me make this PERFECTLY CLEAR!!! WE WANT IT MORE LIKE FESTIVALS SURROUNDING US!!! ARM BANDS FOR OUR KIDS SO WE PAY ONE PRICE AND THEY RIDE ALL DAY WITHOUT HAVING TO HAUL AROUND THOSE "GOLDEN TICKETS" !!!!!! Do you get it? Do you understand now? How much does the DBF committee make on the ticket sales? Does anyone know?

at the cockfest the wristbands were $25 and were good from 10 until 2. Not "all Day" but still probably a better value than Daniel Boone.

debatable. I actually think that Daniel Boone has the better musical entertainment.

Once again, what does "what everyone else" is charging have anything to do with it? No one is forcing you to buy them! If you think its to high of a price, stay home! If you don't want to haul around those golden tickets, stay home! So yes, I do "get it" you want to spend as little as possible and god forbid the DBF committee makes any money. I guess you think everything should be like a public library. Not for profit! Start your own business and your tune will change very soon. FYI..During the chicken festival those arm bands where only good from 10am to 2pm...way before most people arrived.

No Dumbass...I'm tired of hearing about "how much everything cost". If you can't afford to take your children to the DBF then its nobody's fault but your own. GET IT? Don't have children if you can't afford them. GET IT? Children are expensive. GET IT? Condoms are cheaper than children. GET IT? Nobody feels sorry for you. GET IT?....Take some responsiblity for where you are in life. Stop blaming everyone else for your shortcumings! Idiot...
