I think some people may be jealous because their children can not go to the city school. Also, I do not need test scores to tell me how my daughter is doing, we can see that everyday with her grades. If any school needs shut down its the county schools. Did you ever think that just because your child is making good grades, it doesn't actually mean they are being taught what they are supposed to be taught? It doesn't matter how many As they get. If your child is not scoring well on the state test, then they're not getting something somewhere. Now, depending on the child, it could be they're not getting what they need at home or it could be school, or it could be the child itself, but whatever, it's still easy to do well when the work you're doing isnt challenging enough. I'd be a little concerned about that if I were you.

The city school and the county school's administration work together and BHS only takes a certain number of students from the county. County kids and BHS kids go to trade (vocational) school together. The agreement is solid between the two districts. BHS is building on to its school. Read the paper! I would much rather send my kid to city school because of class size. I am involved with my kids and their schooling. Test scores are low--maybe all schools need a little help from the parents. Test scores are low across the state.

Why do you think they were pushing to elect new board members to the Knox county board? They are lining up individuals that would be on the side of NOT renewing the reciprocal agreement with the city school. The county vould use the miney they lose because if it. The agreement is in jeopardy, do not doubt that.

i know them wrote: <quoted text> wrong again! No you are WRONG. The decision to NOT re-sign the reciprocal agreement is a being discussed and is a great possibility. You are a city school insider that is hoping that it's not true. If you know so much then tell what you know about. I have explained myself in what I have said.

You need to figure out that the world don't spin around that place and that if the county can shut it down they will. They always wanted to and now they might get a chance.
