I saw on the CBS news wal mart employees were planning a walk out. It's NOT just BARBOURVILLE. It's ALL of them.

Judged: 2 1 yea i know its all of them, thats why i said if all the employees would stick together an email the main employer an talk to him or her about the hours being cut an the part time getting more hours than the full time then they might just do something about it.sometimes the main employer dont get involved enough with things like this.but with that many emails they just might. |
I doubt it. I heard he's Mexican and really could care less. |

A lot of the strikers are actually "occupy wallstreet" lemmings who have nothing better to do anyhow. i would lov to get a job at Walmart & have applied numerous times. Their work practices, including the rising health-care costs, are being done everywhere. My husbands company just increased his to 3 times higher (Thank obamacare for THAT one)! His company also hires at minimum wage as do many in the same business (restaurants, fast food, etc). So $12.00/hour would be SEVERAL raises for these employee's. i really hope the Walmart employees realize how good they have it b4 they choose to throw it away. Jobs are tough to find, pay is low & health benefits are disappearing at an alarming rate.

Judged: 1 I liked the interview on the news when there was 50 union marchers and protesters where on camera and the manager of the Walmart came out to speak to them and the Union Leader got in his face and wanted to know that the manager would not retaliate against his employees that walked out... The manager told him it wasn't an issue since none of his employees walked out or fail to show up for work anyway.... |

Ahhh poor babies!!! Let them lose their jobs & find out how "terrific" the job market is out there. Yes it sucks that it's an employers market, but it is what it is. |

They should strike when the economy is good but to do it now is a serious mistake if they want to keep their job.

Only if they want to be jobless! Strong-arming tactics only work if you have the upper hand (stronger arm). Too many people are suffering from the fact that it's an employers market right now. It sucks, it's not fair, it just is. Walmart is not the only company who's policies are changing & becoming crappier for the employee's, it's just one of the biggest targets. Thank obamacare for the rising health insurance costs. Plus, the class warfare tactics he has promoted since being in office have hurt every aspect of trying to work for a living. Unions are NOT the answer, they are bankrupting this country right alongside with obama's incessant need to overspend. His administration has already begun to target the monies coming in by raising taxes on the so-called rich for more reckless spending. That revenue was intended to help cover his trillions in over-spending from his first term, but it's now being redirected for more spending ... to hell with the debt we're already in! People need to think for themselves & quit acting like mindless zombies. Our future is in our own hands unless we get too lazy to think for ourselves & hand our individual power to someone else. FYI: obama is NOT a messiah, nor can he walk on water. just sayin ... |

Let them walk out if they want, they'll find out real fast it does not work. Especially here in KY where it is a RIGHT TO WORK state.

Oh pah-lease!!! walmart offers higher wages & better working conditions than many, if not most, of the jobs available for non-skilled labor. Especially for unions. They have been trying to bust up walmart for YEARS! Thank obamacare for the rising health insurance costs. Plus, the class warfare tactics he has promoted since being in office have hurt every aspect of trying to work for a living. i think you are the nut,an i can tell you that they have not tried that.they might have ask their store manager but i'm saying all the employees should email the main man,not the store manager or the district manager.an if they had all stuck together an walked out like you said they would be out of a job right now.just ask those who tried that at truseal.the company has the control i dont care who likes it,thats just the way it is. |
wrong if anyone doesn't show up for there shift needs a bouns . |
