It's a job and that's it! Not a good place period..... It use to be a great place to work but they've dropped all their values and could care less about their associates as they call them. I worked there a very longtime and it just kept getting worse. Now it's just pitiful!

Do you know what they're called ,the other people that will walk in ? They are called SCABS!! Walmart needs some stiff competition and then they would treat their workers a lot better! I know how they do because someone very close family has worked there for a long long time ... I hear they have gotten a lot worse in the last 5 years...

if it was a union job an they went on strike the people that walked in would be called scabs.theres a big differnce.if your not union an you just walk out, then you are giveing up your job.an they will pull out the applications of other people an put them to work, because everyone will not walk out, they will replace the ones that do.so if you dont want to work there just quit.

If they did walk out they'd be in trouble and I'm not talking about the people. The process of starting work there is long, you don't just walk in an start working lol. Just sayin...

That is exactly what the dunnies thought at American Greetings, Warners and Truseal. These companies do not need the folks in Knox County and they wont be in trouble no matter what you ignorant people do. They did not become large companies by catering to small town hicks. It is in the best interest of Knox County as a whole to support Wal-Mart, with or without the people who currently work there. Training folks is the least of wal-marts concerns...they are very good at that. You dummies had better learn to try to keep some of the jobs you have left and in doing so you might attract more.

If you were a part of what happened at American Greetings, Warners or truseal, that contributed to this area loosing those jobs, you are as dumb as they come. If not the statement dosent refer to you. You are welcome.

Talk like that is what is making all these companys treat their employees like crap. They are jobs if you not to lazy to work.Com panys is hearing all scream economy is bad so now they figured out they can treat workers like shit and to keep their job they have to take it or go home. They keep you part time for years and years so they can get out of paying your health insurance,They put your raises on hold. While prices of food and and groceries go up.Goodwill cut their employees hours down to 21 hrs so they wouldn't have to pay their insurance now do you think you could pay your bills on 21 hrs a week.I think all should walk out until they hire you full time. These companys are dirty as hell but all want to put blame on the president. Its not his fault they dirty and treat works like sh*t.Goodwill gets rich off of peoples donated items i'll never donate another thing to them until they start treating their employees right. They give their employees a xmas bonus haha shit with goodwills name on it.what a joke.

sSee you another one who doesn't know what you are talking about. The employees does not make the rules they just have to follow them. And they is a lot of people buy shit use it then when they low on cash take it back.I was in there yestraday a guy brought two pocket watchs back wanted his money back on both he showed the reciept and they was bought back in 2006.They told him they is a ninety day return policy.I know a guy who buy coffee maker use it few days take its back just cause he's low on money. They is a few return policys that needs changed but its not the employees fault. The one where you can not take it back if it doesn't work if you do not have the box it came in.You tell me what kid at xmas waits to see if their presents they just rip into them tear the box up.So if it doesn't work then parents can not take it back cause the kid destroyed the box.

i know that most all employees are treated like shit.but my point is that if these people want a job they better not walk out because they will be replaced.i think that walmart should give their full time workers thats been with them for along time 40 hours a week an cut out the part time workers if thats what it takes.a part time should not get more hours than a full time employee,i know its not fair.but still if they walk out they will be let go.if they was union they might would talk.
