Jessica Davis was very good and tall.

Brandon Elam was good at the round ball.

Bart Elam was decent but played out of position his whole life. Horrible QB.

Tony Merida was a fantasic player as well.

Could Jessica Hubbard qualify for the State Track Meet in the hurdles the way Lisa 'Bug' Hampton did back in the 1980's. And she was a good basketball player too. You need good all=around athletic ability, and Bug had it.

Jessica Hubbard I would have to say. There is no one in this county that has scored 67 points in one game.I have to say she could handled the ball an there was not one person that could stop her.Yes Jessica Davis was a great player to she played with Jessica Hubbard they always played good together. That is when Larry Davis was the coach at Lay.Lay never lost a game back when them girls played there.

If you're talking back in the day, you have to put Janet Jones on that list. She played on the boys team before they had girls teams in the grade schools and she was GREAT!
