I dont trade chicken for toilet paper, I trade soft drinks. Or I steal it from the water park, thats why it upsets me so much when its closed.

OMG get a life people, the park closed for one day for repairs and is up and running today. I cant believe you would want one of the only things there is to do in our town to close. Why don't you find something to keep your small minds busy and stay off topix if all you have to do is bitch and moan.

Mayor and council poke fun at poor people and people that draw food stamps some are there because of drugs but many can't get ahead in life and should not be put down by the city government because of that .

Maybe it would be better to let the park be open no matter what the problems are. The city can love the children better by failing to maintain safety and efficacy. They should keep it open even if it's not working or if there is a safety hazard. At least that's what the 2-3 people that start yelling about how the council hates children every time something happens seem to prefer. They think if they say that often enough they can make people believe it, but it is such a stupid statement that I think it reflects more on them than anyone else.
And after all, the council is responsible for entertaining their kids, don't you know?

They didn't push the schools away. That was KCEOC. They are the ones who decided to use Stivers.

i am not a councilman. The program that pays for the kids goes through the recourse center which is through KCEOC. Stivers is owned by KCEOC , they are keeping the money with KCEOC. Now do you dead heads see the the picture? Gees!

Why is everybody holding the entire town responsible for their kids happiness? The town didn't give birth to your rug rats and you should take care of the ones that belong to you. It sounds like a bunch of teenage parents that want somebody else to pawn their brats off onto. Furnish your kids a life, don't expect somebody else to take care of them and make sure they're happy.
