U people think because people go to church they are Saints!!! People let . me just say, church IS FOR SINNERS not for Saints!!! They are human!!! Humans unfortunately are sinners, Jesus was the only human that wAs without sin. People go to church to feel the holy ghost and to Fellowship with other Christians. Being a Christian does NOT mean you won't sin Jesus knew humans would sin!!! That's why he died on cross!!!
Your right, I think most people that do not attend church are just looking for something or some one to use for an excuse. I was raised in church as a child and have gone faithfully as a adult for the past 26 years. I have watched people come and go, but if your not in church don't lay the blame on people, it's your own fault.

Okay I have been saved since I was 13 yrs old. and I still believe in God. but it is hard to go to church ( and I am not talking about people at locust grove )with people whom really don't seem to have any limits refrig full of booze, smoking, buying lottery tickets, cheating the gov, adultry, women with enough makeup on they look like a clown, hair cut off above their ears, shorts up their you know what running around with no bras on it is disgusting. These are things that I was brought up to believe was wrong. These are things maybe the church should take a better look at. but, instead alot of you so called christains are on here argueing for it. Whats the saying actions speak louder than words. Where is your testimony? sinners are not going to listen to us unless we clean up our on act.

May I ask what in hell are "hipacrites"? A type of insect? A disease? The f*ck is that?

I have visited Locust Grove. For a country church, I'd say the level of dress there is higher than you might expect. Sport coats and slacks are common in cities but not in the country. Maybe that makes some folks feel uncomfortable. I don't think anyone there would tell a person not to come to that church if they were not dressed a certain way. That is simply somebody trying to start something.

I will say this though. Church in the new testament was not Christians meeting in a building dressed to the nines. It was common men an women dressed just like they did the other six days a week joining together to worship Christ in homes and often hiding to do it. We, as Christ followers, have done a huge disservice to our brothers and sisters who have less to make them feel unwelcome due to outer garments. If I had my way, everyone would come to church wearing whatever they wanted so long as it was modest. Aside from that, what does it matter if the shirt has a silk piece of cloth wrapped around the neck or if its just a plain t-shirt? It doesn't.

I strongly recommend an at home Bible study, instead of attending a traditional church. They're vastly corrupt and the word of God is seldom taught there.
