I HAVE MORE RESPECT FOR ROMNEY KNOWING HE DID NOT TAKE A SALARY DURING HIS 4
YEARS AS GOV.

He was Born: March 12, 1947 and is 65 years old.

His Father: George W. Romney, former Governor of the State of Michigan

He was raised in Bloomfield Hills , Michigan

He is Married to Ann Romney since 1969; they five children.

Education:
B.A. from Brigham Young University,

J.D. and M.B.A. from Harvard University

Religion:
Mormon – The Church of Jesus Christ of the Latter-Day Saints

Working Background:

After high school, he spent 30 months in France as a Mormon missionary.

After going to both Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School simultaneously, he passed the Michigan bar exam, but never worked as an attorney.

In 1984, he co-founded Bain Capital a private equity investment firm, one of the largest such firms in the United States .

In 1994, he ran for Senator of Massachusetts and lost to Ted Kennedy.

He was President and CEO of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games.

In 2002, he was elected Governor of the State of Massachusetts where he eliminated a 1.5 billion deficit.

Some Interesting Facts about Romney:

Bain Capital, starting with one small office supply store in Massachusetts, turned it into Staples; now over 2,000 stores employing 90,000 people.

Bain Capital also worked to perform the same kinds of business miracles again and again, with companies like Domino’s, Sealy, Brookstone, Weather Channel, Burger King, Warner Music Group, Dollarama, Home Depot Supply, and many others.

He was an unpaid volunteer campaign worker for his dad’s gubernatorial campaign 1 year.

He was an unpaid intern in his dad’s governor’s office for eight years.

He was an unpaid bishop and state president of his church for ten years.

He was an unpaid President of the Salt Lake Olympic Committee for three years.

ROMNEY did not accept a salary while he was Governor and that he paid for his personal and political travel.

He gave his entire inheritance from his father to charity.

Mitt Romney is one of the wealthiest self-made men in our country but has given more back to its citizens in terms of money, service and time than most men.

And in 2011 Mitt Romney gave over $4 million to charity, almost 19% of his income…. Just for comparison purposes, Obama gave 1% and Joe Biden gave $300 or .0013%.

Mitt Romney is Trustworthy:

He will show us his birth certificate

He will show us his high school and college transcripts.

He will show us his social security card.

He will show us his law degree.

He will show us his draft notice.

He will show us his medical records.

He will show us his income tax records.

He will show us he has nothing to hide.

Mitt Romney’s background, experience and trustworthiness show him to be a great leader and an excellent citizen for President of the United States.

You may think that Romney may not be the best representative the Republicans could have selected. At least I know what religion he is, and that he won’t desecrate the flag, bow down to foreign powers, or practice fiscal irresponsibility. I know he has the ability to turn this financial debacle that the current regime has gotten us into. We won’t like all the things necessary to recover from this debt, but someone with Romney’s background can do it. But, on the minus side, He never was a “Community Organizer”, never took drugs or smoked pot, never got drunk, did not associate with communists or terrorists, nor did he attend a church whose pastor called for God to damn the United States.

Many of Obamas big supporters are turning on him because he didn't destroy this country his 1st 4 yrs.

One of President Barack Obama’s former professors appears to have turned against him, according to a recent YouTube video.

“President Obama must be defeated in the coming election,” Roberto Unger, a longtime professor at Harvard Law School who taught Obama, said in a video posted on May 22.“He has failed to advance the progressive cause in the United States.”

He went on to say Obama "reduced justice to charity" while embodying a policy of "financial confidence and food stamps" and a "politics of hand-holding."

Old dog! This sounds and feels like a fresh breath of air to me!! These past three and a half years have been nothing but strife and suffocation, and a total feeling of having the weight of the world upon me, and I don't think for a minute that I am alone in this feeling.

I refuse to take or even think about taking handouts from the government, when a lot of people had no other choice. Are people getting so use to these handouts and tiny tidbits, that it's all they want now? Because if Oboma gets back in, I fear that many more will be forced to enjoy those tidbits, and where does this leave the American dream?

(This is in reply to your first comment, topix wouldn't let me post it there)

We may need some conservative leadership, but I'm just afraid Romney will hurt the poor people. He seems far out of touch to me.

If the supreme Ct. rules ObamaCare unconstitutional, that is going to really hurt, plus more cases going to the Supreme Ct. People w/any scruples will realize he is a complete failure.
Hell, his own people are mad because he can't even implement the very ideas he cut his teeth on, a complete failure to left and complete failure to the right.

How much more can anybody hurt poor people? The middle class people are becoming far and few between. Making even more poor people.

We seen what Obama has done already. Can we stand four more years? Will there be middle class people in four more years?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and probably make lots of people angry, but this is what I see, every month.

I see people on the draw, disability, stamps, and all the other handouts that they can snatch up. I see them spend lavishly at grocery stores. I see swimming pools in yards, and for the most part, pretty decent clothing.
Now. After the first two weeks of the month, business booms. The third week of the month, thinks fall to a trickle. The fourth week of the month, is the week that the working people are able to contribute to business, in a very conservative way.

Now. Come time for an Emergency, people who get the handouts, have there hands out, once again because they blew every last penny on unnecessary things. Take the cell phones that were handed out for instance. Whose paying for those?
Middle class people.

There are many more of these examples, but my thoughts are getting too long. My point is, Obama is NOT Robin Hood. He's more like robbing the hood (middle class people), but hood sounded good! Lol

If things are not bad enough, we have 3 supreme ct. justices getting close to 80, if they retire or die on Obama's watch what do you think he will replace them with?

Antonin Scalia, 76
Anthony Kennedy 75
Ruth Bader Ginsburg 79
