Barbourville will never be nothing more than joke. It's controlled by a few people. If anyone tries to better Knox County they get rid of them. They should be more concerned about bring jobs to Knox County. All people are in office right now should be removed including the judges. the only honest person in that court house is Bill Oxendine, You can't find one person that will say a bad word against Mr, 0xendine, The sheriff dept, the county attorney, judges it's unreal what you here about these people.

Has anyone read the audit or even the parts published in the newpaper for goodness sake? If you have then what would you suggest the members of city council do?? If nothing then you are right, they all should be removed. They are trying to do the right thing but I know that is hard to see when you have personal friendships and feelings involved. I don't think anyone is denying that David is a good person and would do anything for anyone if they needed him but the matter at hand is that rules/laws were not followed and/or broken. There are consequences for your actions. That is one of the first things we teach our children yet it is so hard to follow as adults.

I've read the audit and really don't see anything that bad!! People just looking for a witch hunt is all it is. He has done far more good than bad. Nothing in the audit is worth resigning over. All a bunch of petty shit. These dumbasses just gonna get some dipshit in office then they will be sorry. No, they won't be sorry cause they are to stupid to know a good thing when they got it.

Petty shit? Either you didn't read the audit, or you are family/friend. If I knew it wouldn't fall on deaf ears I could pinpoint a lot of things that was way more than just "petty shit". Fool.

Aiding and abetting is a legal doctrine related to the guilt of someone who aids or abets in the commission of a crime. It exists in a number of different countries and generally allows a court to pronounce someone guilty for aiding and abetting in a crime even if they are not the principal offender.

Everyone is pointing fingers at one person (Mayor). What happens when the council members admitted to knowing yet did nothing. What part of this should they own responsibility?
My opinion is if they knew and let it happen they are just as guilty...
