Just heard of an older wheel chair bound gentlemen being left in a bedroom for 4-5 days with no food or water, and a note on the door...it happened at helton hollow in knox co,,, is this what we want knox co known for. (Starving our people)

To get food at the church in town you have to provide income social security paper driver license.
what happened to feeding people regardless of the situation.
I realize people take advantage of things but doing good to the wicked is our calling according to Jesus.
we have over 150 plus churches noone should ever go hungry in this county especially the disabled. God will sling out wrath for that kinda neglect.

What kind of a note was on the door????An who knew that the man was starving?Maybe the church didn't know anything about him.

So you are saying the person being starved was being neglected because he was wicked?

We are all wicked trying to overcome it through faith in God and faith that Jesus did what he has done for us.

So you tell me are you capable of doing wicked as a saved reborn Christian.
King David done things that were sin great sins but grace and mercy covered it cause of our loving father.
The answer to your question is in the question do you think he is wicked. Did he sin to come to this point in his life or was he being tested or the people around him related to him being tested. The answer is above my pay grade.
I said we are according to what God said we are to feed out enemies which can include the unsaved wicked. We are instructed to give them drink. pray for them. That is what I said I didn't imply he was is wicked. I do judge but not an open rebuke in a text where I'm pointing out a flawed system in a fallen world.

Before you all go off track here I heard it at about 11:30 am this morning on my scanner, it was a welfare check by someone..and the deputy saw a note on the door ...but just so happened to walk around the residence and saw the old guy laying in the bed thru a window , but before an ambulance was requested and before he saw the gentlemen thru the window , he , ( the deputy) told dispatch the note was dated 6-25-14 ,, so doesn't that mean that the old guy had laid in the bed for 4 days .the deputy even said he looked extremely malnutritioned,,, so to put it nicely someone obviously let him there..and whom ever the note was for didnt show up.,, so forgive me for sharing something I heard that disturb me really bad..im hoping he wasnt left there to die alone unable to get out of bed...on purpose, so good night and hopefully the old guy survives to see another day..

and as for this comment sir, I will admit I haven't done anything to help this gentlemen, I do no know where helton branch or hollow is located, as far as I know he was transported to kch by ambulance, but if he had neighbors I would like to think they were aware of the fact that he was handicapped and checked on him ..but if I went to someones door and saw a note on the door , I personally would assume that no one was home ...thankfully the officer walked around the residence and saw thru the window and noticed a gentlemen laying in his bed unable to move without help from others...I bid you goodnight sir

Glad to hear he got help, like you I don't know where he's located either but I was concerned enough to find out. It appears someone else was concerned enough to make the call and report it to authorities. Thank's for the reply.
