This is a strange thing, especially considering Obama's new reelection. They have been a Union State for ages. They're liable to have a Civil War of sorts.

The state is trying to preserve its tax base. They know they cant be competitive against other states that are right to work states. Look at how much auto manufacturing that has came to Kentucky in the last ten years instead of going to Michigan. That is why!
