Well, during the hours the pawn shop is open for business THERE ARE atvs, lawnmowers and whatever else parked close to 25. They are not in the least bit transparent. Meaning you CANNOT see thru them.

I almost hit someone that was pulling of that nasty looking pawn shop parking lot the other day. He came right out of mass of those junk cars about 20 feet in front of me (and I was in the fast lane), I spent the better part of the next 10 miles cussing the idiot with every other breath. That place is both an eyesore and a danger, the only reason it's permitted is some officials are paid to look (and no doubt drive) the other way.

IMO its truly embarrassing that out of state/town people first see "Welcome to Barbourville" then are greeted by something that would make Fred Sanford blush as you pass by our little town.

traffic blocked wrote:
<quoted text>
I agree 100 percent with you. When the customers of the pawn shop pull out they can't see because of all the vehicles parked in their view. When you pull onto 25e off Knox street you cannot see the traffic coming on 25 at 55/65 miles per hour. I just pray no one gets killed at this death trap. I know no other area in the tri county area that has such an obstruction to pull onto a state highway. What will it take to correct this problem?????? Several deaths .....that is when the state usually does something! Sad none of our officials care about the safety of others
Why doesn't the pawn shop move up to the old Myers building where they can park all that machinery? I have never seen a pawn shop have that many vehicles 4 wheelers etc. need to move off of 55 mph road. If they stay. Make it safe for your customers and drivers!
That's because they stole it off of the citzens of Knox County and there poor kids !

i have read several of your posts. Seems to me you are a disturbed individual. Adults are trying to give their thoughts and opinions and you keep bashing them. What's in it for you? Are you getting money on the side to uphold this junk sight? It has to be something, you are so angry and upset.

ok so let me get this right.It is fine for everyone else to "bash" people and give there opinions on here but you think mine are disturbing?Thank you i try very hard.No what i am saying is...even thou this wreck was not caused by not being able to see around the pawn shop it automatically ended up going straight to it was the junks fault and lewis's fault he should be sued..etc etc..the problem here goes deeper than a wreck.someone is upset with lewis on a personal level and wanna get people mad at him.I do not know him personally and could care less if i ever do but i do not like liars and for someone to say they pullled up there sunday morning and couldnt see 50ft..they are a bald faced liar.i personally came out of there myself and looked.Call me disturbed or whatever i do not care.Just not gonna listen to people who lie!

I myself would like to see that junk put on the CSX train, and shipped out of here. People don't care who's life they put in danger as long as they make a Dollar. I think i might start a junk yard and name it a pawn shop at the old bread store and see how long it would last. Heck i would match everything else on 25. City Councel my butt, it's a shame to let this go on, and this is your fault for killing this man. Now this is my freedom of speach.
