I would love to understand why certain people can have posts about them removed from Topix despite no threatening comments, or vulgar words. However, something was posted about myself, and I tried multiple times to get it removed but could not unless there were threatening comments. If someone can remove a harmless posts about themselves by going through authority's, why shouldn't everyone be allowed to? This site posts about basically everyone within our town, but particular users can have posts about them removed?

When you post stuff on here that may or may not be true. Topix has no way of knowing so they take it down if they get report of something being libelous. They'd rather not deal with a lawsuit than make gossipers happy.

You probably just don't know how. I'll leave this on here long enough for you to read and reply to, then I'll have it removed to show you that anyone can have a post removed. You don't have to be registered to do it either.

Right click on the little number out to the right, copy shortcut or paste then click report abuse ad click send feedback. A window will open where you put the information and reason then click send. You do have to put your email address where there is a red asterix. Try that.
