But, there does seem to be a clue sprouting there, so maybe there's hope for you yet. Since total being consistant is the best policy, where did I wander off? Let`s see-my first reasoning is,one can not receive money from other sources than your work income with out having some loyalty to the giver.IE.Congress collects from special interests and lobbyists.Half the time these are the ones that write the Bills! Second-Congress gets paid for a years work, are in the work area about half of the time. But expect to be in office til they are old enough to retire. Third:Obama has a vacation at the taxpayers expense more often and stays in Washington less(to work) than he does time out running for office! The U.S. House on Tuesday passed a provision advocated by Rep. Peter Welch that would close the Reverse Morris Trust (RMT) tax loophole and save taxpayers $260 million. The loophole was used by Verizon to avoid federal taxes when it sold its northern New England landline operations to FairPoint Communications in 2008. By a vote of 246 to 178, the House approved the Small Business and Infrastructure Jobs Act (H.R. 4849). The legislation, which invests in local infrastructure projects and small business tax credits, is paid for in part by closing the RMT loophole. It incorporates a bill introduced by Welch and 21 other members of Congress this January (H.R. 4486), which focused on closing the RMT loophole. "This loophole is bad for taxpayers, bad for consumers and bad for workers. By closing it and investing the savings in job creation, hardworking Americans – not corporations – will benefit

The special interests and lobbyists will talk the Senate ,Harry Reid, into sticking it in another cubby hole in his desk. Why do we continue to allow special interests and lobbyists to (donate?) money to Congress persons??
Does this insure fair and impartial judgement when voting?

A soldier was asked to report to headquarters for assignment. The sergeant said, "We have a critical shortage of typists. I'll give you a little test. Type this," he ordered, giving him a pamphlet to copy and a sheet of paper, and pointing to a desk across the room that held a typewriter and an adding machine.
The man, quite reluctant to become a clerk typist, made a point of typing very slowly, and saw to it that his work contained as many errors as possible.
The sergeant gave the typed copy only a brief glance.
"That's fine," he said; "Report for work at 0800 tomorrow."
The prospective clerk asked, "But aren't you going to check the test?"
The sergeant grinned. "You passed the test," he replied, "When you sat down at the typewriter instead of at the adding machine."

Fourth, fifth and so-- on quite consistent.I don`t like Obama!!Nothing personal, just don`t have his ideology! first, congressman have been getting money from special intrests and influencing policy for many years. Now this is suddenly unacceptable to you. Their time working for their pay has ALWAYS been a joke. Now, suddenly unacceptable. Third, presidents have been taking vacations on the taxpayers dime since the beginning. The current prez has taken less time than most. But now, unacceptable to you. You keep bringing Benghazi up. So you are apparently in a twist about it. Were you as upset when during the previous administration, something like 10 embassies were attacked, and a bit more than 4 people lost there lives?(whatever you do don't look up hw's numbers) Im guessing you weren't quite as upset about those. Embassies have been attacked and diplomats and ambassadors have been murdered and executed during a lot of adminisrations. Now its unacceptable. The numbers for the current potus pale in comparison to his predecessors. But, by your reasoning, unacceptable. Stop suckling uncle rupert's teet, and get your own ideology.

When I was very young, not much attention paid to these things as too busy trying to stay alive. Now we did know Bush tried to find and jail the perps. But now-learned to pay a little more attention,am more conservative as grow older, realize this administration is totally out of sinc with the people. They are much like the Repubs.Only know how to spend. What is your excuse?

If you paid attention,my suggestion has been, the systems are broken. This money collecting has been going on too long.Have you any suggestion to correct it?Look back and you will understand it was not so always. The amendment to the Constitution changed the way things were done.Maybe we could go back to the original way?Have to make it fair, again,no money exchanged,as this is the destroyer. If we all ,and Congress, got together, someone could come up with a way to delete special interests and lobbyists.

As far as listening to the news,do hear some like Madcow, good for a laugh. But FOX does present all the news, maybe a little bent, but not as she does, nor as MSNBC,or as much. So,get a better idea all around. Then have to sift it all.Now maybe you are unable to sift yours, but there really is a line in the middle where most reasonable people could come together. That is where I try to be.But again,my ideology is conservative.Where do you think you fit in?
Again,I have made no effort to conceal the fact I still think this Nation is,should be,and is slipping,a Christian Nation.I have even maybe mentioned that I try to be one.
