that was the story from my childs
sunday school book.
i know in job chapter 24 or close to it
it talks about wild animals in the desert
and how it yeilds food.
will have to look up the exact scripture...but
if you would like a bible or feel you are loosing
faith and need someone to talk to, please attend
church somewhere and get some help. dont be afraid or ashamed.
no matter what you have said or done in the past
god loves you and will take you back.
please talk to someone.
I think people eat flesh of animals sometimes butnot three times a day, with factory farming full of millions of disease filled animals cramed in to cages going insaine, they would go hunting and catch a wild food and eat flesh and Jesus eat broiled fish and honey, but factory farming takes away the gardens the grain and animals never are free and they suffer every hour not once do the animals see the sunshine and run freely even to be hunted by a hunter I am talking to God aboutt his but I feel that when God said in Gen 1.30 And to every beast of the earth, and to every fowl of the air, and to every thing that creepeth upon the earth, wherein [there is] life,[I have given] every green herb for meat: and it was so...could it be that God give the Green herb for the animals to eat as well and man , cause I havent ever seen any Green meat Can anyone tell me of any Green Herb flesh green blood? could this be a a King James Meet Meat misstranslation? now we have animal slaughter world wide I dont think meat turns green when it rots ..I dont think God would want us to be eating Green Herb Meat Herb is plants I have not seen flesh grow from trees green flesh ha??? the animals had to eat to they eat green herbs as well, I looking my self at this us learn together in peace.

No, if I'm not mistaken, they're in a catagory on their own in the food chain. Like chicken is poultry, while cow, is beef, hog is pork, etc. I don't have time to look it up now but I think that's how it goes. Catholics only eat fish on Fridays when fasting so fish can't be meat.

The meaning of fish reads: a vertebrate cold blooded animal with gills and fins living wholly in water.
The meat of a fish is also refered to as the flesh of the fish.

Bible is filled with numerous specific examples of faithful servants of God eating meat with no implication that they did wrong.
Genesis 25:
27,28; 27:1-4 - Esau was a skillful hunter. His father Isaac loved Esau because he ate what Esau killed.
Genesis 43:
16 - Joseph had an animal slaughtered for his brothers to eat with him.
1 Samuel 25:
18 - Abigail brought sheep dressed to eat as a gift to David and his men.
1 Kings 4:
22,23 - Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, ate oxen, sheep, deer, gazelles, roebucks, and fowl.
1 Kings 19:
21 - Elisha slaughtered oxen to feed people.
1 Chronicles 12:
39,40 - David and the people ate oxen and sheep when he was named king.
Nehemiah 5:
17,18 - Nehemiah provided for those who ate with him oxen, sheep, and fowl.
Matthew 3:
4 - John the Baptist ate locusts and wild honey.
God's people ate, not just fish or birds, but "red meat": cattle, sheep, oxen, etc.

If eating meat is immoral, then all these people were immoral and sinned in eating meat.
Yet the "God's word" presents them as good people and never once implies they did anything wrong in these case.
1 Timothy 4:

4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
4:3 Forbidding to marry,[and commanding] to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4:4 For every creature of God [is] good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
4:5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

I dont like the factory farming does its animals, back 2000 years ago they did hunt and eat animals but the animal got to enjoy life for a season, and did get to run from the hunters now they are in facrtory prisons and caged up and the grain of the earth that the animals is fed, leaves millions to starve, its a a balance out of control, should the rich of the world have these factory farms hell on earth for animals? few years back I was driving down the road and seen a big red cow laying in the sun Miss cow was soaking in some rays it looked so relaxed, laid back in that sunshine the expreshion on its face was happy a happy beast that cow was that day it made me smile I said be happy cow and feel the heat of the sun on your body , It made me happy to see the cow soaking in the sun laying in the grass I smiled it made me happy

nothing wrong with not eating meat if thats how you feel about it.....but to each it's own..but if your giving up the eating meat then you still need protein...you'll neet to eat peanut butter, beans (pintos) that is...just look for foods high in protein.
