A two time felon with a weapon is dead meat before he starts, not even ccnsidering he is growing weed. A crossbow is also a deadly weapon. The two time felon and the thief would be eliminated just as the piece of chit on hwy 11. Ain,t real complicated...cuz

wrong again .. crossbow is not a firearm .. a brick is a deadly weapon.. a concealed weapon may be a different story .. crossbow is ok for any convicted murderer or felon.

No if you are in position of a fire arm and you are a Felon you will go to Jail for the laws you broke but Even a Convicted Felon can walk from a homicide charge if he used a firearm in self defense but would be charged with with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and any other direct charges but still can use Self Defense and Stand Your Ground laws as defense against homicide charges..

I can use a Cross Bow, long bow,Compound Bow, Shot Gun, rifle, sling shot, base ball bat, sword, battle Ax or 5" bore cannon if I want to..... Kentucky Law does not specify what I can't use for self defense ... If I had a Class 3 ticket I could even use Machine Guns and boom-boom stuff.... Also unlike many states Kentucky's Concealed Carry ticket is called a Concealed Carry Deadly Weapon lic... Not a Concealed Carry Firearm permit... I can carry a Sword and K-Bar fighting blade if I wish....

Kentucky Law does not limit felons to not possessing a "Firearm" ... It Limits them to Not have a Deadly Weapon and that can indeed be a Brick. In the case of a Brick it would be a matter of Intent... If a Felon was building a wall with bricks he would not be in possession of a deadly weapon but if he drew back that brick with intent of thumping his boss in the forehead then he committed a class d felony by being in possession of a deadly weapon.. If the Felon worked at a butcher shop and used a meat cleaver is one thing, walking down the side walk with it in the air and it's possession of a deadly weapon...But unless your job requires you to use a cross bow A Felon in KY in possession of a Cross Bow has committed a Class D Felony..

"Possessed, used,or displayed, in which case it is a Class D felony."

Carrying a concealed weapon is a Class A misdemeanor, unless the defendant
has been previously convicted of a felony in which a deadly weapon was
possessed, used, or displayed, in which case it is a Class D felony.

it looks to me like it says if a weapon had been used in a previous felony .. unless I missed something that mostly deals with concealed ..

THERE WAS NO NEED IN SHOOTING THE MAN, AN FURTHER MORE THE ONES THAT SHOT HIM TRIED TO SAY HE HAD A GUN-( WHICH WAS A BIG FAT LIE!!!). THE EMT'S STATED HE WAS NOT ARMED WITH A GUN!!!
They can't face the fact that there was no needing in shooting him, they had already beat up. The EMT'S thought that he had been shot more than one time. PLUS HE HAD BURNT MARKS FROM WHERE HE WAS SHOT SO CLOSE!
I will listen to whatever in the hell I want to. I don't claim to be a big Christian then lie!!!!!!!!

Sounds as if the thief got what he asked for, got his azz smacked around, thied to run and then got his azz shot. That needs to happen to more of these pieces of chit and then they will stop the stealing. They should have stuck the gun up his azz and then pulled the trigger.

I was there that night and know for positive he did have a gun stuck in the front of his pants, the EMT and the state police are the ones that found it. He was not beaten no one laid a hand on him. He was told to sit down on the ground and that they had called the police. While one of them was talking to the dispatch he said he wasn't going to jail and then He took off running and the shooter was chasing him around a building and it was dark and foggy it had been raining and the grass had been recently cut and that's when he fell and his gun went off. No one there even knew him, didn't know he had been in trouble before and he was not killed for breaking into the van either. It was a accident that no one could have for seen happening. We where ask by the family not to post on here and I have not posted anything about that night but I can't stand the things people are saying. The man that shot him hates that it happen and so does his family. The gentleman who was shot family deserves to know that he was not gunned down in cold blood and that his life meant more to the man who shoot him that a little bit of change. They are good christian people and value all life.

I long for my son on a daily basis. And I would think a christian family would attemt to speak with the grieving family .Randy went to Kentucky seeking a better life and now hes dead.Whom ever shot him ,had no right to chase him.
All these comments cause me such grief.
Almost a year later and I only have his ashes.
I want the shooter to know God took his life and knowone else.
