Here is a suggestion for you, Take whatever it is that you would whip these scumbags with, go seek them out...Then give them a couple of bible verses, tell them god loves them, whip their ass and see how many you convert and change into decent citizens. You live in a dream if you think you can straighten out what"God" has made crooked. Evil people that live to harm other people are not victims, they "create" victims. The two people who called this scumbag out did what the justice system failed to do, they put a stop to one person who was hell bent on hurting others...they should sleep well knowing they did their community and other innocent people a favor.
the old man better hope he can sleep in jail because that is were he is going. He messed his life up over a change purse. REAL SMART!

Thank You! For the first time I think someone has said something that makes sense... No matter what when you look at this regardless if this man was shot by "Accident", he was still killed. But the speculation remains cause when two guys draw guns on you and hold you down, I don't see that being shot running away as an "accident". I think that these men wanted to catch him, regardless of the circumstances. They may have not intended on killing him, but the "fact" still remains also that someone did. Though people are right and I fully agree what he was doing was wrong, and he should have been caught and held accountable, but being the victim of Martial Law isn't the way. Even if the police had caught him and he ran, just like on every cop show on the planet they would have chased after him and not killed him. It was a change purse for crying out loud....he wasn't trying to steal the van or his child! Is living with the fact he killed a man over change for the rest of his life worth that. It would have to be EXTREME circumstances for me to fire a gun on someone. Obviously Randy didnt want no part of these two men because he was running away. I knew Randy well and I knew his problems (btw does anyone reading this live in a glass house?)he should have been caught put in jail to pay for what he was doing and has done, just like every other person that commits a crime. My family will miss Randy no matter what anyone says about him, we knew the good and the bad side. Some people wouldnt know that Randy took care of children that was not even his own because their father and their mother were both to sorry to do it, he would go out of his way do whatever he could to help someone else that he cared about. When he talked of his family you could read the pain on his face. So just remember the thief on the cross next to Jesus that said to Jesus "Remember me when you make unto heaven" and Jesus said " I make you this promise today you will be in paradise."

Nope, I doubt the grand jury will ever be given a second thought... If it actually did ever get before a Jury he would walk as the vast majority would not convict him on principle in this country and most thing Jury Nullification is a Duty....

randy's record speaks for its self it was only a matter of time till he either killed or raped someone he broke in on or he would have end up killing someone soon
he fought two guys that where armed with guns
he would have only spent a few days in jail if that
the Entry and Exit Wounds would have proved if the shooter fail and the gun when off along with gsr on the ground the ground was wet it was really foggy that night and the land thier
is very uneven i can se someone slipping ive drove that that place a 1000s times i know what the ground looks like thier
in the end the one who caused randy's death was randy

That's just plain ridiculous... And you don't even understand what you are saying..... You are saying that we all should stand back and allow thieves, crack heads and meth heads to come on to our property and let them take your stuff and wait for an hour for the cops to show up after they have robbed us, or worse.... Every Person has the Right in the State of Kentucky under Kentucky Law to act as you say as a Cop on his own property and is held to the same standard as would a cop if they overstep the limits set by those laws... In the State of Kentucky the law gives the Citizen the Right to use Deadly Force in defense of your Castle... This is why the whole situation in this thread is such a tragedy.. This young man would today be alive if those that knew him had made the effort to understand his actions would someday get him killed and make him to have understood it...

See your wrong, Randy had more on the line than you realize, which in turn makes what he did even more stupid. Because Randy was on parole and another theft conviction would have revoked his parole and sent him back to prison for the remainder of his sentence which would have been around 5 yrs. So that being said anyone else in the same situation would have done the same, try and run. And there is something else that I think about why all the secrets about who this man is that shot him, their is a reason for that if he was not doing anything wrong and defending himself "legally" then why all the secrecy.

If some one is running away and you shoot them it is murder. Your life is not in danger so it can't be self defence. It is MURDER! That is way I say he will go to jail. The state will pick this case up.
