Today as I sat in my car waiting on my wife get done shopping. I saw a young man going from car to car trying to open doors. One car had the windows down. I saw him put half his body in it. I dont if he got anything out of that car, But i did see him open the door on a Toyta of some kind and get something that looked like a cell phone. Then i saw him go to a red beetle car. Sortly after a woman came out of Wal-Mart and got into the driver set and they got out of there in a hurry. People LOCK YOUR CAR DOORS !! So you dont feed people like that hibbits. It funny some people are to sorry to work. But they will risk life and limb to steal. Be on the look out he got away with it once you know his going to try it again
Just wow

I'm assuming with the name Goodsam you're calling yourself a good samaritan. But a good samaritan would have called the police if they saw someone going car to car trying to get stuff out of them. Instead of just posting in on topix.

I knew someone would sy that. Your in B-ville. he'll have to rob half of Knox county before the law will do anything to stop him. I know a guy still waiting to find out who cut the pipes off his car. If i would have tryed to stop him and called the law more than likely I would have been the one go to jail. I was just saying be on the look out for him and keep your car doors locked. I dont understand some of you people. You'll bash somebody for trying to stop a crime and up hold a criminal. Is this what you want to hear I made it up. I'm just a dumb hillbilly that aint got no smarts. I can bet you this this dumb hillbilly will keep my car doors locked! I'm not going to make it eazy for somebody to take what I got

They have to get him in the act. By time the law would have got there he would have been gone. Thats why

You watched somebody steal stuff but didn't call the cops and think you are "trying to stop a crime". You're also "not going to make it eazy for someone to take what I got" by not reporting people who stole from someone else leaving them free to try to steal from someone else -- someone else maybe being you. Interesting thought process you got going there.

Why do you think you're a "goodsam"? In my Bible, the Good Samaritan did something for the man he found beaten. He didn't just leave the guy on the road bleeding in order to get on Topix and write a warning about people beating others on the road.

The warning is nice but calling the law would have been a lot more helpful. If they don't know about something they can't do something about it. One of the things that hamstrings the law is people who see something but won't appear as witnesses and/or just watch it happen without calling the law -- all they do is complain about the cops not doing their job.

Nevermind i posted anything. I was just trying be helpful i didnt know topix was full of trolls. or are you the one robbing cars? Your bashing me for trying to let others know about him and the law has to see him do it before they can take him to jail (I have had to call them before) go ahead and put me down somemore I will not be back on here! I can smell the white thrash. Im sorry if I put a damper on your stealing.

Call the law to find out. if I knew how to take this back off topix i would! So he could keep robing people. The way it looks they need to get robed maybe then they will have more respect for someone when they try to warn them of a theif

Thanks for the head up Goodsam! Don't let these other guys make you feel like you didn't do something good here. It's a knee jerk reaction to think about the cops, but they obviously didn't stand back and put themselves in your situation and consider that a) I'm sure you didn't know for sure he was going to steal something, he was looking devious..but that is not a crime until he takes something, b) by the time you did "think" he took something, would of went in and called the cops he could of been gone anyway...then you are stuck making a police report. If you are like me, time is tight and having to be somewhere quick overrides spending the next hour making a police report over petty theft..especially when it's not your decision making that lead to the theft.

It's not Goodsams job to police the neighborhood, it was nice of him to bring this up so the rest of us are on the alert. The woman who left her phone in her car with the doors unlocked should be the one getting heat here...it was her own actions that got her stuff stolen. It's sad it happened, I wouldn't wish theft on anyone but it does happen.

Women: we should ALWAYS lock our doors. Check your backseat before you even get in the car. While it's rare, there have cases where creepos crawl in and hide in the back seat. Don't leave yourselves open for crime!
