Who do think will win the lawsuit over occupation tax.
How can Knox co afford to pay part of this tax to corbin? Corbin has the liquor tax let Knox co keep the occupation tax.give me your opinion.

It basically depends on which area the work was done in, if there is a question, then maybe the area maps should be checked, to determine whether Corbin or Knox Co. has jurisdiction: also, something to be considered is double taxation, since Whitley County also claims an occupational tax now, if Corbin wins and the area in question is within their jurisdiction, then possibly the tax should be awarded to Whitley County, although someone should check to ensure those responsible for paying the tax aren't being taxed twice.

Either way since Corbin is a licensed muncipality, the tax should be awarded to them. Then Corbin could pay Knox, Laurel and/Whitley for operating within their jurisdictions.
