very rude indeed....speaking of a member of the 'Black' family who is calling my momma a liar (I pity her if we ever do meet) and making it impossible for me to meet my father after 55 years...and is implanting her f....ked up thoughts into the rest of the familiy's minds..I only hope she gets hers in the end....guess who.

What's this have to do with being rude? What kind of education did you have to read a topix forum and then come in with completely irrelevant information? Talk about dumb...

See, you just prove that Knox Countians are idiots.
You have no reading comprehension skills.
Read it again, real slow this time, and try to sound out the big words...
The post I made explains how dim-witted you folk are because of your schools.
Your schools are horrible, last in everything & they put out ignorant children, who then become ignorant adults like yourself.

Reading is fundamental.
Try harder.

You fools can't drive, don't work, and have your heads stuck so far up your relious butts that it has caused you people to lose your senses.

LOL! Nice try. When I was school, my reading comprehension tested in the top 97% of the nation. I was not born, raised or educated in Kentucky. I live here now, but not even in Knox county. I do work in Knox county.

I have lived in quite a few places from large cities to small towns. I have met a lot of people from a lot of different nationalities.

Whether or not what you posted about Knox county is true, dim witted <> rude. The rude people I've come across are usually the "better educated" who think they are better than everyone else. Rude people would be someone like you who hops into a forum and posts some "facts" but probably has never even been to the area.

From my time I've spent in Knox county I have found the people there to be warm, polite and for the most part a good group of people. No less more more than most areas in a lot of different states. Yes there is an occasional jerk, but you find them everywhere in the world.

You sir or ma'am need to worry about your self. Turn off that computer and walk out into the world. Meet some people. Take that sourpuss scowl off your face and lighten up. I don't care how educated or elite you think you are, without the human experience you are living a shallow lonely life.

Everything you have stated in this post is entirely factual and true. I have had very similar experience in my life as well, and you're exactly right. Especially about people from other nationalities. I have worked with very many of them in Alabama, as well as Mexico city. And you will certainly meet plenty of Jerks, as well as many polite and decent people.

There are Jerks and rudeness anywhere a person may go. I myself, really like Knox County. I like it as well or probably better than anywhere I've ever been. I have been to many other states, as well as Countries.

Don't get me wrong, Knox County has it's problems, but so does everywhere else.

I spent time in Europe, as well as the Middle East, in the late 90's and early 2000's. And I came across many Jerks and Rude People there as well.

Nevertheless, I find Knox County and South Eastern, KY to be God's Country. It's great compared to most places I've traveled to.

And it's 4 am and time to get in bed!

Good night...

Excuse me! Knox County's educational system does not come out last in everything! They have the highest drop out rate! The nerve of some people. Don't you understand... These teens are so eggar to get out into that booming workforce Knox County provides. Can't you see all of the wonderful opportunity this close tight knit community provides the soon to be young adults. The education system is dull and boring, these charming young individuals lack challenge. You cannot say you have seen many individuals can work a minimum part time job and still be able to provide a comfy life style for all of those young families, that drive nice big shiny cars (don't forget the rims), have top knotch clothing, high end electronics, and steaks in the fridge. Yes sir, that is Knox County gumption! We can all say thank you to KC Board of Education!!

I am new to Kentucky , moved to Henderson Ky. in a senior independent place. I was shocked how people acted. They had a food fight over a potluck and throw food at each other. Then each week and each month things got worse. Mostly fighting and gossip to the point where police had to be called to break them up. Then more food fights and bullying of people around them. Then this took the cake and I decided to move out of Henderson when a bingo game caused fighting to the point that a person poison a little dog . Yes there some good people also , but I never seen such behavior from Seniors. I am moving out of here . I know there some good people because I meet them at church . But think this environment is not good for me where I live at , so will move out .

Just recently moved up here but found it very rude and people doing things like poison little dog over a bingo game. But I know not all of Kentucky is this way ok, I heard if I go central or toward Louisville it better. So I give it a chance before I decide to leave the state. I live in a place that in Henderson where seniors fight and have food fights and fight with each on daily bases. But I meet some really nice people in Owensboro that really were very kind . So really cant judge the whole state by the bad ones that lack manners.

I THINK insluts or name calling never solves anything. I am new to Kentucky and believe me seen some bad things here, but I know not all of Kentucky people are rude . And talking about God country , Would you believe in the place where I live I got called to the office there for praying for someone . Yes you heard it right . Not joking. But you know the people in my church are really very kind and sweet , so I GIVING Kentucky a chance and not going to judge all of Kentucky for the few of them that have bad manners or hurt others . It better to continue to be kind in our ways and just stay away from those that hurt others or are rude . Don't have to associate with those that do it , so just stick with your friends that are like you that believe the same way you do. I hope things get better when I move to other place , and I sure it well because I all ready made friends else where that are very kind.

It better to bring smiles in others lives and bring in sunshine then to hate or hurt others and bring in the storms. That a old saying from Washington State . Can say when you use your dog sled in winter, the snow storms are rough , but if you keep laughter and joy in your life and hope , you can out do that snow storm. Then all the dogs pulling that sled that have warm hearts and kindness keep you warm in life. There negatives in life , but there also positives that can overcome the storms ahead for you in life. I lived in Texas also, there a lot of negatives everywhere you go . But it your choice how you handle your behavior and not to lower yourself to others level. Keep positive and let the bad behaviors stay with those that create it and look to something positive in yourself in in those who don't have those bad behaviors. Keep the sunshine in your lives. thank you for listening to s stranger from the northern states where moose and wolves run around freely and there beauty everywhere you go and bad things too.

Yes I seen alot of rude people in Western part of Kentucky. But also I seen some really kind and giving people also. Cant judge all for the few ones that are not with no manners . Just ignore them and walk on. Not going to lower myself to anyone rude or nasty is the best way. But you also have to think how a person was raised and the examples at home they had.

I totally agree with you . It just happens to be that sometimes people with low self esteem get there kicks by insulting others and it makes them feel better when they put others down. I just agree it best to walk away from them or not talk to them it makes them look bad in that way. One time some person told me I was a lair because I said I use to be a OT and she thought it was a doctor lol and went and said I was saying I use to be a doctor. Come to find out I had to tell her a OT is a Occupational Therapist and she did not know what that was . She was uneducated and could not write . She later realize that she made mistake and tryed to be nice later. But for awhile she was very nasty with me .
